  1. WOW !!!

I just cant wrap my head around the mistakes of these people talking about cars….

They say it has 425 torque..lol its rated at 490 !!! And it was underated…

The top speed was not 130 mph…they got 156 mph at red line but you could go faster..a 440 Polara did 142 mph ! And they said 0-60 6 seconds..lol…sure going sideways in tires smoke..

The little flooring job they did,Ibet it was 1/4 throttle because floored these cars sit and spin…Unless this motor like many are either rebuilt wrong or its shot..

My old man (76 years old) raced many cars in his time and 426 HEMI cars would run high 11’s with slicks…440 cars were low-high 12’s..these were stock and when they were new..And the slicks back then only are equal to a modern radial tire..My 383 Newport ran high 13’s with a 383 4bbl it was the high performance version..I also owned many..many vehicles..I run 12.80’s with my original motor never rebuilt 1969 Charger RT ..440/727/3.23 gears..never rebuilt,I added headers and electronic ignition and better carb..but engine has 130,000 miles on it..transmission original but resealed..rear 3.23’s never touched..I repainted the car and fixed the small tear in the seat..owned since 1985..and I own many, many more..You would be surprised to see a stock original 1968 Chrysler with a 440 tNT (not the regular 440) just beat a 6.1 HEMI Challenger SRT,basically side by side…
