1976 Aspen R/T and Volare Road Runner

The early 70s oil crisis in the US changed the muscle car world almost overnight. Hemis were long gone and big blocks were on life support. See the story at Hooniverse. More pics after the jump!

  1. this is really crazy… i owned a 76 road runner back in the early 80’s, but I always wanted a “Super Coupe”, and on my way into work this morning I saw pristine example pulling out of a gas station… and now you run this story in your blog… wow (Jeff – Evansville IN)
