Hemmings recently did an update on Miss Belvedere, the 1957 Plymouth that was entombed in an underground vault/time capsule in Tulsa OK. 50 years later, in 2007, one lucky Tulsaite was to win the perfectly preserved car! Check out Hot Rod for the story of Milburn Varner and his collection of Mopar cars that have sat untouched since he retired from the drag strip in the early seventies. He yanked the Hemi from a 1967 Belvedere GTX convertible to transplant to his race ‘Cuda! He still has both. He refuses to sell or restore, “I ain’t sellin’ this stuff–it’s all about braggin’ rights, and the money don’t mean as much as these old cars and all of the good memories they gave me.” That’s fine in my book but still, a bit of soap and water would do wonders. The 2014 Ram Power Wagon has received many changes/upgrades, including a coil-link rear suspension, revised front suspension and the new 6.4 liter Hemi. The electronic disconnect sway bars remain as do the larger tires, increased ride height, locking diffs on both ends and the Warn 12,000 lb winch.
