4-Speed 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible on eBay

It’s getting harder and harder to find cars like this that have not been fully restored. And you usually don’t see them doing huge smokey burnouts in eBay ads! This original California 4-speed 1970 Plymouth Road Runner has been sitting in storage since 1990. It’s rough, needs a trunk floor and quarter patches, but damn it’s cool! More pics plus the eBay auction text after the jump. Seller wants $38,000 for it. Worth it? Oh, and the questions and answers at the bottom are hilarious.

One of 179 made. Runs strong! Needs trunk floor and quarter patches, I have NICE original quarters for the car if interested. Car is original other than the ridiculous sanding, primer and blue “color tests” here and there. Even the beep beep horn works.Car is missing washer bottle and spare tire and jack thats all to my knowledge. Doors and trunk shut like a dream. All the convertible specific parts are present and in great shape. The side glass is convertible specific and is in great shape some of the best originals ive seen. I have the title, fender tag and build sheet. Rare B7 blue 4 speed convertible factory hood stripe and optional hood turn indicators. Frame rails rocker panels floor boards and so on are nice. One of the last original runners like this pulled out of a shed for sure. If you think your Daytona or Bird is rare ; ) Please excuse the little tires I have it on haha…. If you come by and and hear it you will leave with it. Car has been parked since 1990, engine was rebuilt just before it was parked, and was obviously painted the wrong color, orange still shows underneath the blue paint. I have no way of proving that mileage to be original but the way how the doors and trunk shut I dont know how it could have rolled over. I know quite a bit of the cars history, the prior owner was a big Mopar guy and knew what he had. Rear quarters have been rolled for bigger tires at one point in time but not cut. Thats why you see the primer around the wheel wells, easy fix. Car has a different color hood on it as well because when I got it it came with a air grabber but I wanted to put it back to stock, and yes I already sold the air grabber stuff. Wheels were rally wheels when I got it as well but i wanted to put it back to the steel wheels. Im a bit of a purest, thats why the color on the wheels is a little different as well. For those of you that will need to make shipping arrangements I will gladly store the car for a few weeks indoors in our climate controlled collection that has surveillance and alarm in a good neighborhood and 1/4 mile from the police station REST ASSURED hahaha….. CALIFORNIA car its whole life, still has both original blue plates. Please call any hr of the day if I dont pick up leave a message and Ill call you back. Theres more I can tell you but cant type it all. I am listening to all offers but am asking $38,000 OBO (909)855-7853. Thanks for looking and God bless.
