Up for auction today is my absolutely beautiful numbers matching B7 Jamaica blue 1969 Roadrunner convertible. Yes, the VIN tag number is on both the engine and transmission. The car has a fender tag but the build sheet was not found. Common on Convertibles I‘m told. This is one fine looking Automobile.

I first had a chance to buy this car from a good friend in 2000 but lost out to another who gobbled her up before I could raise the funds. This car is as beautiful now as it was then due to it sitting in a museum type setting, here in Omaha. I got her approx 2 years ago.

This car is equipped with the original numbers matching 383 and numbers matching 4 speed transmission. Has 3:23 Sure grip. Engine was rebuilt when restored. Engine compartment very nice and clean. Runs perfect. From some internet sources I’ve gathered there were approx 1880 total ’69 Convertibles built. 769 4 speeds, and 1111 Automatics. That surely makes this one rare car. I’ve had people tell me they never one!

The car is equipped with the air grabber hood, hood treatment black stripes, 4 peed transmission, fender mounted turn signals, AM 8 Track radio with stereo dash, pedal dress up kit, wood steering wheel and 15 inch chrome magnums on red line bias type Good Year tires. The car runs and drives great! Also has dual exhaust with correct tips. Most all the chrome is new and the glass is perfect. The tail lights, grill, headlight bezels were all replaced. The interior is beautiful through out. The convertible top is perfect. It goes up and down just fine, electrically.  Everything works as it should.

This car was not rotessorie restored. It had full quarter panels installed with a new trunk floor. The rest of the car was very solid. It was restored in approx 1990. Originally an Arizona car it then spent time in California then was sent  to MN where it was restored. In approx 1999, it came to Nebraska. Final touches were added and it’s been a show car/weekend driver since. I have a trunk full of trophies from “Best Mopar”  to “First in class” and several “people’s choice”!  These are all local shows and the competition was tough. The Mopar community is really growing here and some fine examples are in our backyards here in Nebraska! This car is as nice of a car as your going to find. You will not be disappointed. There is nothing to hide, there are no dents, bondo bubbles, damage  nothing  period. The color is absolutely striking! It is truly the best looking ’69 Convertible I’ve ever seen! This is definitely a “Keeper”!
