Death Row 1971 Barracuda

This very solid E-body sitting in Tennessee is not for sale but not for the usual “I’m going to restore it someday” reason. This owner is just downright nasty,

“I found this ’71 Barracuda sitting in Tennessee.  I got a chance to talk the owner, an older woman.  She refuses to sell, and has turned down several offers.  She said that someone can take away when they can sweep it into a dust bin.  Sad story.”

See it here at Cars in Barns. Another pic after the jump.

  1. Some reasons sometimes have some interesting stories. Could be a good one why she doesn’t want to sell it. I noticed a lot of these no sells and I think you guys need a bit more creative reasons for them to sell it to you instead of just letting some of those beauties go to rot.

Here is one. Team up with Mopar and have them buy the car with the intent to fixing it up and donating to someone, like a disabled veteran or other person that could really use it. That way they get cash and also doing a good deed for charity. I am a disabled vet myself I know I could use something like that. Could call it Old Cars for Old Vets.

  2. I really don’t mind it is theirs after all and if all these cars disappear it will only make the ones I have more wanted and therefore more valuable.
