How Fast Can a HellCat Go?
No official final numbers yet but coupling the supercharged HellCat engine (estimated to be between 550 and 620 hp) with the ZF eight speed automatic will surely produce one fast automobile! Allpar puts the magic number at over 200 mph. See more at Allpar.
More 2015 Challenger Hellcats Caught Testing
A large group of SRT cars was recently spotted out testing, including several Challengers prototypes with front bras hiding a revised front fascia for a lower air intake, plus different exhaust. These Challengers are most likely equipped with the new supercharged 6.2-liter “Hellcat” Hemi V8 which will help Mopar compete with the Camaro Z/28 and Mustang GT500. Hellcat Hemi Could Be Out This Summer
According to the folks at Allpar, Ma Mopar is planning to drop a supercharged 6.2 liter Hemi producing close to 600 hp into SRT versions of the Challenger, Charger and 300. And this engine could make an appearance as early as this summer! Get the full scoop at Allpar!
