Answer: Because of “oddball-Mopar” lovers such as I! I would have kept it exactly as shown here. In the late 1960s I couldn’t get Dodge or Plymouth to order a 4-door performance car. My first car as a teenager was a two-door Chevrolet (also my only GM car) and I disliked the inconvenience of two-door cars, so I’ve bought 4-doors, wagons, or minivans ever since. I do own an ’89 Caravan with a 2.5 turbo and 5-speed manual (factory equipped). The stranger the Mopar, the more I will like it!
