Hemi Pantera

How do you make a Pantera more awesome? Ditch the Ford powerplant and swap in a 426 Hemi, stroked to 526 cubic inches. There is a LOT more that went into this car, though, and it is all thoroughly documented on the Hemi Pantera website. Owner and builder Göran Malmberg is a famous custom guitar and amp builder–Eric Clapton used one of his guitars back the Cream days and Led Zeppelin has used his cabinets. Cool stuff! Purple 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite

Here’s one more B-body from the Mopars Unlimited Spring Roundup in Seattle this weekend. The purple Sport Satellite drove over 1,000 miles to get to the show from Calgary, Alberta Canada–through Montana and then over the snowy Chinook Pass at over 6000 feet of elevation! Not bad for an old carbureted Mopar! More pics after the jump–in the snow and at the show! Snow pics via Moparts

The first win goes to Miles Watsko of Winnipeg, Manitoba for his awesome 1964 Plymouth Savoy, which was chosen from over 1,000 Mopars at the 29th Annual Midwest Mopars in the Park car show in Farmington, Minnesota this weekend. One of None 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Convertible

I’ve seen this 1969 Dodge Charger R/T convertible at the show for years, and each year it’s a little closer to done. Looking good! Dig the recall wheels, too! More pics after the jump! And if you want to see more Charger convertible conversions, check out this thread at DodgeCharger.com
