Looks like the Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association had a good turnout for their annual show this past weekend on the grounds of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan. One of the coolest cars was undoubtably Doug Schellinger’s 1970 Plymouth Superbird. You can see a bunch more pics at Mac’s Motor City Garage.

1967 Plymouth GTX Goldilocks and the Two Bears
I already showed you the ’69 Charger ad that Jalopnik thinks is the most sexist ad off all time. Well, this one isn’t sexist, but it’s definitely awesome. (And it doesn’t hurt that the ’67 GTX is an awesome car.) In fact, I think this is my all-time favorite Mopar ad. What’s yours?
Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler Conquest
We haven’t covered a lot of 80s cars so far. How about the Conquest, built by Mitsubishi and sold as a Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler? They are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially in stock form. This one sold recently on eBay for $1,780 but it sounds like it had a blown motor. There is a good writeup on these increasingly rare cars over at Hemmings.
Any Dodge Neon Fans Here?
I think they should never have stopped making the Neon. The Caliber was a misstep. And honestly, the new Dart has a lot more in common with the Neon than it does with the original Dart. Nothing wrong with that, though–the Neon was cool. Like this one running Rally America. Pic via DodgeForums
Best Burnout Picture Ever?
I found this 1968 Dodge Charger burnout pic on the internet a while ago and saved it down to my desktop. I don’t know who’s car this is or who took the pic but it rules. I have the wallpaper size here. Have you found a better burnout pic?
Superman Ram Power Wagon
Ram has partnered with DC entertainment to create this awesome Superman Ram Power Wagon to help promote the new movie “Man of Steel.” It features Dark Ceramic Gray paint, red accents on the grille and 17-inch satin-black wheels.
“We are excited to partner with Warner Bros. on ‘Man of Steel,’” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group LLC. “With film alignment we have a fresh consumer engagement opportunity, connecting the heroic character traits of Superman with Ram’s DNA.”

1970 Challenger 340 Convertible Barn Find
This green 4-speed 340 Challenger convertible has been sitting in a shack near San Francisco since 1978! Just 70,000 miles–it was parked when the clutch started to slip– and same owner since 1989! Right now the owner is trying to figure out what it’s worth, and whether to sell. I bet there’d be a lot of interest in this one if it did come up for sale… Tons of pics after the jump! Via Moparts
Movie Mopar of the Week: 1972 Plymouth Road Runner from Love and a .45
I saw this in the theaters when it came out back in the early 90s. Kind of a Tarantino ripoff type thing, before Renée Zellweger got famous. But the real star of the movie is the blue ’72 Road Runner. Check out the movie trailer after the jump! If you haven’t seen it you can stream it on Netflix!
How NOT To Pull An Engine
I think the guy who shot this video with what appears to be a Dodge Omni knew what he was doing–from the video description it sounds like he was trying to prove that some folks at TurboDodge.com were wrong. Either way he definitely proved a point: use a cherry picker. Video after the jump!
Badly Burned 1968 Hemi Dodge Charger R/T For Sale
Now, here’s a sad story. Guy gets a very original triple black Hemi ’68 Charger and then it goes up in flames in a garage fire. It’s currently listed for sale for $38,000 on the pennswoods.net classifieds. You can see pics of the car before the fire over at DodgeCharger.com. Hopefully it will be fixed up soon.
