Check out Steve’s all original 1982 Dodge Challenger. These were build by Mitsubishi and sold as the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Sapporo in the United States from 1978 to 1982. Here’s the word from Scott:
Here is a rare find. My 9th Challenger. Yes 9th. A 1982 Dodge Challenger, all original down to the am/fm non-cassette radio. A true survivor. Making this even more impressive is that the car currently has 230,000 on the clock. The car is a 5 speed, all wheel disc brakes, aluminum Road Wheels. Ok, it may not the pony car, but this Challenger does have a 2.6 liter Hemi. When I got my first second generation Challenger in Nov 1981, I went from Fife, Wa to Treasure Island San Francisco, 800 mikes at an average speed of 69 mph, fact. I have owned seven of the pony cars, all of them unique and special. The 1982 Challenger is a remarkable car. Hard to find today. It gets looks wherever it goes and people don’t realize that in the 80s Dodge had a Challenger.

Have you ever considered selling this beautiful vehicle? Wow this is a nice one…..I know the price just went up. I bought one new back in 82 and loved it. Sure would like to find one like this one. 740-616-8866 is where I can be reached if this ride needs a new home.
This looks exactly like my first car!!! Wow! Brings tears to my eyes! I loved that car —- what I wouldn’t give to drive it again! Cherish it, because you are lucky to have it! 🙂
I got a red one that had a 5 speed with overdive, cruise control and AM/FM cassette radio back in 1984, I had that car for about 10 years, then I gave it to my brother who traded it in on a new Ford Escort. It was a great car, was a dream to drive.
Thanks for the replies.
Sorry no thoughts about selling. I just started it last weekend and it purred.
Can’t wait till the warmer months.
Dude, I am still interested in this sweet ride if/when you decide to part ways with it. This is the exact car that I bought back in 82 for the low price of $8034.00. The telephone number in the previous post is still a good number.
I posted a video of the car here

Brian, If you are still looking for a Black 1982 Dodge Challenger I have a all original one that I am going to put on Ebay and sell that I purchased new from West Covina Dodge in California for $9,800 when I was 24 years old, It has been in storage in the garage at our Arizona home the last 17 years and I only drive it occasionally and when I do I get people always saying how nice it is, it still has the original paint on it and looks pretty good but it is fading on the top section in small areas, I did have the interior redone and it looks new, could not have it done in the original style because that is not available but it looks just as good, It has over 300,000 miles showing but I had the original 2.6 Engine and 5 speed Transmission rebuilt around 70,000 miles ago. this is a nice original dry never wrecked rust free California/Arizona car with factory Air Conditioning. I am asking $6,500 If interested you may call me at (760) 508-8405 Thanks, Eddie
Hey Eddie,
Steve here, I was the one that called you. Nice interior on yours.
Looking at the interior of your car brings back memories of the one I had when I was younger. I loved driving that car.
Here ia another video that I just uploaded of the Challenger
