Cars In Barns recently added this picture of a Barracuda needing some attention on their Facebook page. It kinda makes a person weak. I don’t see any side marker lights so maybe a ’67?

1960 Dodge D100 on eBay
A recent addition to Bring A Trailer, this restored D100 looks to be a very nice driver. The owner added several upgrades in the way of power steering and brakes but it still maintains “that look.” Still powered by the original 318 and 4 speed. It has a Rhino-lined bed with a few dents. Well, it is a truck after all. See the posting here. I want a full size mural of the picture in front of the pumps on my garage wall! More pictures after the jump.
1968 Dart as Spec’d Out by an Engineer
What happens when an engineer with a demand for detail acquires a heavily modified ’68 Dart powered by a 6.1 Hemi and sporting a Keisler transmission, B&M shifter, RMS suspension and a Strange Dana S60? Tear it down and build it again of course! The car went through a major second rebuild with virtually all new sheet metal, suspension, interior and an Indy Cylinder Head 6.1 Hemi. All that and he kept the Strange Dana S60! End result: 660 HP at 6900 rpm. You can’t second guess the man. Find the full story, and the build-in-process pictures, at Street Legal TV. More pictures after the jump.
Street Hemis Featured at Hemmings Concourse d’Elegance
Ma Mopar’s elephant engine got some serious respect this weekend in New York’s Saratoga Spa State Park at Hemmings Motor News Concourse d’Elegance. I wish I lived anywhere near there! I can almost hear that sweet lumpy idle. The article in Hemmings gives a great synopsis of the engine that dominated NASCAR. Read about it here.
Update: you can see some pics here.
1970 Plymouth Barracuda Barn Find on eBay
Check out this Barracuda barn find! The ‘Cuda was last on the road in 1976 with the Pennsylvania Bicentennial license plate to prove it! Originally a 383 pistol grip 4-speed car, although it no longer has its numbers matching engine. It’s a B3 blue car with matching interior. Mileage is indicated to be 64,403. The owner has started the restoration with the professional installation of some AMD sheet metal, but has decided to sell. He seems to give a fairly detailed description of the car listing both good points and bad. Bidding currently sits at $11,000 with the reserve not met. Worth it? Find it here on eBay. More pictures after the jump!
Unrestored 1970 Hemi Charger Heading to Auction
A 1970 Hemi Charger is a rare beast. A unrestored one is even more rare. An unrestored in fantastic shape? Fuhgeddaboudit. 112 were built in 1970 with only 56 having the A333 4 speed. One of those 56 is heading to Mecum’s Chicago auction in October. Almost a true survivor (one repaint), this numbers matching beauty is said to be one of the best equipped examples having the A34 Super Track Pack option as well as the light package, power brakes, bucket seats and console and Rallye gauges with Tic-Toc-Tach. It is expected to fetch six figures. Given its rarity, would you make it a trailer queen or use it the way the way the engineers who built it intended? More photos after the jump!
New Compact Ram?
Allpar reports on a possible new compact Ram pickup. Target market is outside the US, but some may find their way here should fuel prices suddenly rise. Sized more like the Ram 50 than the Dakota, the exact platform to be used is still unknown. Speculative renderings vary wildly but the Charger platform based one (extremely unlikely) would sure be cool!
