Not sure where or when this happened, all we know is it’s sad. The guys at Moparts speculate that the fire was the result of a flammable glass reproduction air cleaner assembly and rubber fuel line. Apparently the owner ran through his only fire extinguisher quickly but wasn’t able to stop the blaze. All he could do was stand there and take pics til the fire deparment showed up. More pics of the carnage after the jump!

Five 1987 Shelby Charger GLHS’s Up For Auction
Considering they only built 1,000 1987 Shelby Charger GLHS’s, finding five of them in one place is pretty amazing. Curious Yellow 1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda Convertible on eBay
Beautiful Curious Yellow 383 car with a white interior and big billboards! The only thing that would make this better would be a 4-speed and a Hemi! Seller claims it to be a rust free California car, totally restored and documented and rated by Galen Govier a 1.4 out of 6 (1 being the best). This is a super rare car: it’s one of just 374 Cuda convertibles built in 1971 and one of just 87 automatic 383 convertibles. The Buy It Now price is set at $198,630. Worth it? Check out a ton more pics plus the eBay auction text after the jump!
2013 SRT Viper on the Dyno at Livernois Motorsports
The SRT guys recently took the new Viper over to Livernois Motorsports in Dearborn, Michigan for a bit of testing. The results for the SRT V-10 were a very impressive 558 horsepower at the wheels and 526 lb.-ft.of torque. (Keep in mind that at-the-wheels numbers are usually 15 percent lower due to driveline losses, so these numbers are very much in keeping with the factory numbers of 640-horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 600 lb.-ft. of torque.) 1943 Willys MB Returns Home to Toledo for 70th Birthday

Seven decades later, current owner Vittorio Argento, an Italian radio journalist, decided to bring the correctly restored Willys back to Toledo where it was born. Though the original Willys assembly plant is long gone, he was able to bring it to the Toledo Assembly Complex, where the current Jeep Wranglers is built. Video after the jump! Via Chrysler
1971 Plymouth Duster 340 NHRA Stock Eliminator on eBay
Here’s another great find by the guys at BangShift. This is a real factory 340 car, built right for the NHRA Stock Eliminator class. It’s not street legal now but could easily be made street legal again. Currently runs low 11s and seems like a lot of car for the money with a Buy It Now of $15,900. More pics plus the eBay auction text after the jump!
AMX Prototype Featured in August Issue of Hemmings Classic Car
AMC built just a few of these fiberglass-bodied AMX prototypes. This particular example was supposed to be incinerated, but instead was rescued by a line worker in AMC’s Kenosha assembly plant–for just $50! It is still owned by the same family and is featured in the current issue of Hemmings Classic Car.
