In June we showed you one of the General Lees from the recent Auto Trader commercial, that was for sale on eBay. Find it here. There were apparently six Chargers used/abused in the making of that commercial. Now another Charger from the commercial is on eBay. We’re all for saving/restoring every Mopar that has led a rough life, especially a winged warrior. However, there comes a point where you simply have no choice but to say a small prayer then scavenge it for parts. This 1969 Charger Daytona was bulldozed into a ravine to make way for a dam! Per the story at BangShift, the plan is to rebuild the poor girl. That would be great but the result would simply be a 1969 Charger with a nose cone, wing, window plug and a Daytona VIN. Featured in the August 2014 issue of Mopar Collectors Guide, this 1968 Dart is now for sale on eBay. Originally a slant six car, it was built to resemble a Super Stocker, complete with a 712 horsepower Hemi! A change of ownership and the car was then transformed into a tribute to Bob Riggle and his Hemi Under Glass II. (purely a tribute as there never was a Hemi Under Glass II Dart). The one off white tires were added as the owner like Tyco slot cars from the 70’s that had white tires! Ok, not really… While we were down in Portland testing the Hellcat we also got to check out all the other 2015 Challengers. Ryan Douthit of Driving Sports shot the Hellcat video we posted last week (hanging out the back of a minivan on PIR). He also shot the video below with a R/T Scat Pack car, using Steve Cook’s beautiful 1969 Super Bee for a bit of historical perspective. Watch the video after the jump!

Two years ago, Bob Mosher’s newly built 1965 Plymouth was stolen from his shop in Southern California. The thief took the car up to some serious speed and managed to hit a tree going 150 mph. Can you believe he survived? Sadly, the car didn’t. More pics after the jump! Via Hot Rod
