She goes by the name Pure Punishment. I like it. Classic muscle car on the outside with a modern interior, running gear, brakes and a 6.1L Hemi backed up by a Tremec 6 speed. Suspension consists of a custom 4 link rear but with a C6 Corvette front suspension. Looks evil! See the story and more pics at Street Legal TV.

Near Mint 1970 Duster
Check out this semi-survivor Duster (one repaint) with a reported 15,835 miles in a very nice 70’s brown. There’s something off-putting about it but I just can’t put my finger on it. Chrome valve cover maybe? No, that’s not it. See more details at Hooniverse. More pics after the jump!
Dandy Dick Landy
The cigar smoking, drag racing Dick Landy put a straight axle from an A100 van under his 1964 Dodge 330 and radically altered the wheelbase to create a drag car that was referred to as a funny car because, well, it looked funny. The rest is history. Read a piece on his racing career in Hemmings Motor News.
A Two Car Barn Find
Finding an old Mopar in a barn is getting harder. How about finding two Mopars in the same barn? A barn in Tennessee possesses a 1970 Super Bee Six Pack and a 1970 convertible Challenger! They’re not for sale but look to be in great shape and are at least somewhat out of the elements. The same can’t be said for the 1975 Gold Duster up in Connecticut that is almost completely devoured by brush. See the article at Cars in Barns. More pics after the jump!
Mopars in the Snow
Winter is here. So how about some pics of Mopars in the snow, courtesy of Moparts! More pics after the jump!
Barn Finds at the MCACN 2013
Barn finds are just plain cool. Finding an old, dust covered Mopar that hasn’t seen the light of day for 20 plus years has a certain mystic. While the vision of a full blown restoration comes to mind for most, others want to keep that day of discovery feeling by way of NOT restoring them. Heck, not even cleaning them! The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals acknowledges this trend with their Barn Find display. See the details at Hot Rod. More pics after the jump!

Like AMC’s? BangShift’s latest “50 Photos” gallery highlights the cars from Kenosha with 52 examples. I guess they couldn’t contain themselves to just 50. Bone stock to race cars, they have them covered. Find them at BangShift.

Two Dodges Awaiting Rebirth
Why do people let these beauties decay like this? If you’re keeping them to someday rebuild them then fine but at least take steps to stop any further deterioration. If you’re waiting for the market prices to climb in order to sell them then fine but, again, at least take steps to stop any further deterioration! Not much of a story to go with the pictures but the pictures alone say alot. See them at Cars in Barns. More pics after the jump.
Roadkill Runs the 24 Hours of Lemons in a 1973 Plymouth Fury
The latest installment of Roadkill has Freiburger and Finnegan competing at the 24 Hours of Lemons in a 1973 Plymouth Fury. I hate to see these boats ending up at demolition derbys and the like (I have a 1974 Fury) but I gotta admit, it’s damn entertaining! Video after the jump!
