Cummins Powered 1973 Dodge D200
Hot Rod Garage pulled the diesel powertrain from a 1995 Ram 2500 and dropped it in a 1973 D200. They then turned their attention to power output with the goal of doubling both the horsepower and torque of the Cummins 12 valve engine. Were they successful? Find both episodes after the jump!
1970 Plymouth Cuda Restomod Going to Auction
Going to the Mecum auction in Dallas later this month is this Lemon Twist Cuda. No 3rd gen Hemi for this restomod though. It’s powered by a 650 hp 528 Hemi sucking the air/fuel mixture through dual 4-barrels and sending power to a Dana 60. The suspension is upgraded to an Alterkation front end combined with an air suspension system. Now, about that stance. Find more info at Mecum Auctions. More pics after the jump!
1972-74 Dodge Challenger
A victim of rising insurance rates and a looming oil crisis, the 72-74 E bodies were admittedly a step back from the 70-71 model years in terms of outright performance but they don’t deserve the almost Rodney Dangerfield-ish lack of respect that some burden them with. Find a recap of the “big block-less” Challengers at Curbside Classic.

Brazilian Mopars
Curbside Classic has a great piece on the Dodges of Brazil. In 1969, the Dart that we know and love debuted in Brazil and became a hit. So much so that they decided to use styling cues from the second generation North American Charger to create a 1971 A-body Charger. Read the entire article here.
