Dodge’s Five Year Plan

Big news today out of Chrysler Fiat: “the SRT family of vehicles will be consolidated under the Dodge brand.” We never understood why SRT was spun off in the first place, so this makes sense to us.

So how about the next five years? Well, the Dart will finally get the SRT treatment for 2016. We all also see an all-new Journey in 2016. Then, in 2018 we will see an all-new Charger and Challenger. Meanwhile, the Avenger will be killed off this year and the Grand Caravan will go away in 2016. Press release after the jump! SRT Challenger Hellcat Spotted

Update: Motor Trend Calls BS on these Spy Shots

LeftLane has some photos of what appears to be the 2015 Challenger Hellcat, replete with bulging hood and cold air intake. Now that the “run-of-the-mill” 2015 Challengers have been released, they seem to have relaxed their guard re the front and rear covers. The unique hood is a tip off to something special lurking beneath. You can also see SRT on the wheel centers with some serious Brembo brake calipers behind. More pics after the jump!
