Of course, like any super rare, valuable car, this one has some controversy around it–specifically around the removal of the VIN tag. Seem legit? Seller claims just 219 miles on this A-990 car, which appears very complete and intact. They only made 101 of these Hemi race cars in 1965. Bidding is already over $100,000. More pics plus eBay auction text after the jump!

Hemi Superbird Barn Find
You’re looking at a very orginal 4-speed 1970 Hemi Superbird with just 14,000 miles. FJ5 Limelight Green with a white bucket seat interior. The current owner bought it in 1972 in the condition you see in the pics below–the original Hemi had spun a bearing and had been placed in the trunk! The Superbird was stored in Oaklahoma until just recently. Now it’s in Illinois with Magnum Auto Restoration and is about to undergo a full restoration. More pics after the jump! Via Moparts
‘Playboy Marfa’ Features a 1972 Dodge Charger
You are looking at an art installation commissioned by Playboy near Marfa, Texas. It was designed by the artist Richard Phillips and inspired by the Richard Petty’s wins at the Daytona 500. Hopefully that 1972 Charger was too rusty for any other purpose. Via Jalopnik and The New York Times. Lots more pics after the jump!
1969 Dodge Coronet R/T Special Sale Only $550!
Not sure what year this pic was taken, but those days are long gone! Via the CPW – Chrysler Performance West Facebook group.
1974 Dodge Charger “Daytona” on Craigslist
Now here’s a wild custom for you: a 1974 Dodge Charger done up to look like a Daytona. Sort of… Seems fairly well done, and of course you can’t argue with a 440 under the hood. What do you think? Seller is asking $35,000. More pics plus the Craigslist ad text after the jump!
2013 Mega Mopar Car Show at Maple Grove Raceway
BangShift has tons of great pics from the 2013 Mega Mopar Car Show at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania this past weekend. Looks like the High Impact E-bodies were out in force! I have a few more pics after the jump (including a wicked black ’67 GTX) but you can see the rest at BangShift (and they just added some drag racing pics here). And be sure to check out the winners at maplegroveraceway.com
Crazy Aussie Mopar Stash Uncovered
This just popped up on YouTube. The guy who shot the video stumbled across a pretty wild Mopar stash which was in the process of being moved to avoid some sort of Aussie government land repossession. After first spotting a Challenger on a trailer out on the street, he managed to talk his way into a tin shed containing several Chargers plus a few wing cars up under the eves. Apparently some were used in movies? Check out the cool collection after the jump!
Cool B-Body Gallery at BangShift
Bangshift just published a cool gallery of B-bodies. (Though it looks like one C-body snuck into the mix–can you find it?) I posted a few of my favorites after the jump (like this wicked yellow 1970 Road Runner) but see all fifty at BangShift!
Lowest Original Mile A12 Super Bee in the World on eBay
This 1969 1/2 Dodge Super Bee definitely lived its life a quarter mile at a time. In fact, this Hemi Orange 440 6 Pack menace never ran on the street or was even registered. Today it has just 720 miles (the seller claims it is the lowest original mile A12 Super Bee in the world). Obviously, it has been restored, and it’s kind of sad that it doesn’t still wear the original paint and graphics from the time that it was raced by Wyman Collie in North Carolina. But it’s still super cool and for sale on eBay now! Tons of pics plus auction text with the full option list after the jump!
