Yet another collection of neglected Mopars, but this time with a twist. The owner was NOT hording them and apparently agreed to sell. Let’s hope they went to good homes. See them at Cars in Barns. More pics after the jump.

1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Rotting in the Woods of Ohio
This 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T was parked in the woods in Ohio in 1974 and hasn’t moved since! GuruRanger posted the full story on Moparts:
About 15 years ago, I got information on a ’67 R/T that had been parked behind a barn since around 1974. I followed up and found the car, but the woman who lived in the farmhouse said it was her brother’s car, he lived in Florida, and she wouldn’t give me any information on how to contact him. Instead, she wanted to be the middleman and gave me the runaround. This week, I was in the area and noticed that the house had been torn down and no one had been on the property in quite a while. I checked the woods behind the barn and the R/T was still there! Complete, it’s a 1967 Coronet R/T, dark green with a black vinyl top and white bucket seat inteior with console automatic. The engine is still there, air cleaner to oil pan and it still has it’s Certicard. The car even has its grille centerpiece and factory mag-style hubcaps. I wonder who owns the property now.
Think it will ever get saved? More pics after the jump!
The Other Auctions: RM and Gooding
Yesterday we decided to hit the other Arizona auctions that do not have a lot of Mopar stuff but still have some interesting cars. RM is a very high end auction with mostly European cars, Ferrari’s and older cars. Gooding has a nice mix of stuff as well and is similar to RM but the cars are not as high end. Gooding had an “as found” theme going on with three cars still covered in dust and grime going up for auction.
These cars were from RM and includes a couple of Imperials, a Hemi powered Facel Vega, and a Chrysler 300B. More pics after the jump!

Tennessee Mopar Finds
Two Chargers and Barracuda are exposed to the elements with an owner who apparently doesn’t want to sell. See them at Cars in Barns. More pics after the jump.
1956 Plymouth Suburban Canadian Barn Find
Do you like your 1956 Plymouth Suburbans resto/rat rodded, as shown in a recent Mopar Blog post (Ferris Oxide 1956 Plymouth Sport Suburban), or stock? This apparently bone stock wagon is said to have been sitting untouched for 35-40 years. It’s for sale on eBay with no reserve and currently sitting at $3550. I’d rebuild the engine and restore the interior and leave it at that. It’d be nice to own a cool Mopar that never needs washing. Find it here on Bring A Trailer. More pics after the jump!
A Two Car Barn Find
Finding an old Mopar in a barn is getting harder. How about finding two Mopars in the same barn? A barn in Tennessee possesses a 1970 Super Bee Six Pack and a 1970 convertible Challenger! They’re not for sale but look to be in great shape and are at least somewhat out of the elements. The same can’t be said for the 1975 Gold Duster up in Connecticut that is almost completely devoured by brush. See the article at Cars in Barns. More pics after the jump!
Barn Finds at the MCACN 2013
Barn finds are just plain cool. Finding an old, dust covered Mopar that hasn’t seen the light of day for 20 plus years has a certain mystic. While the vision of a full blown restoration comes to mind for most, others want to keep that day of discovery feeling by way of NOT restoring them. Heck, not even cleaning them! The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals acknowledges this trend with their Barn Find display. See the details at Hot Rod. More pics after the jump!
Two Dodges Awaiting Rebirth
Why do people let these beauties decay like this? If you’re keeping them to someday rebuild them then fine but at least take steps to stop any further deterioration. If you’re waiting for the market prices to climb in order to sell them then fine but, again, at least take steps to stop any further deterioration! Not much of a story to go with the pictures but the pictures alone say alot. See them at Cars in Barns. More pics after the jump.
1970 Super Bee Barn Find
It’s gut-wrenching to see classic Mopars slowly turning back to iron ore thanks to the dreaded “owner refuses to sell” scenario. This numbers-matching 1970 Dodge Super Bee is one of the lucky ones and appears to be headed for a restoration. Courtesy of Barn Find Northwest. More pics after the jump!
