A 1965 Chrysler New Yorker that was for sale tugs at the heart strings of a prospective buyer and, in the process, he writes a pretty good piece about the classic C-body. Read the story at Curbside Classic. More pics after the jump!

New Satin Vapor Edition SRTs
The SRT level Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300s are getting new Satin Vapor Editions. Black satin chrome 20 inch alloys, Nappa leather/suede and red Brembo calipers help to separate your SRT from all those run-of-the-mill SRT’s out there. Now which one to buy? See more at CarBuzz. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Super Bowl Ads
Well, no one saw that Maserati Ghibli ad coming. So that was a bit of a surprise. The 200 and Jeep ads were decent but not terribly thrilling. But you could say the same for the game. Does Bob Dylan make a good pitchman? See all three ads after the jump!
New Name, New Logo

Chrysler 300C Love Story
I came across this story while looking at Chrysler 300s on the Chrysler 300 Club website. My Dad and his friend had a couple of 1957 300C Chryslers when they were in their 20s. I got to hear a lot of crazy stories from both my Mom and Dad about these cars and how amazing they were. The story links at OregonLive and Chrysler300Club are just another amazing example of how special the “Beautiful Brute” was to a lot of people who have owned, own one, or just love them.
The Other Auctions: RM and Gooding
Yesterday we decided to hit the other Arizona auctions that do not have a lot of Mopar stuff but still have some interesting cars. RM is a very high end auction with mostly European cars, Ferrari’s and older cars. Gooding has a nice mix of stuff as well and is similar to RM but the cars are not as high end. Gooding had an “as found” theme going on with three cars still covered in dust and grime going up for auction.
These cars were from RM and includes a couple of Imperials, a Hemi powered Facel Vega, and a Chrysler 300B. More pics after the jump!
Day 1 at Barrett-Jackson
Today was the first day of cars going across the block at Barrett Jackson and it was a very fun and exciting day. They have an all new facility this year with over 1,000,000 square feet of space! It is amazing how big this place it and they are selling over 1,400 cars from Tuesday to Sunday. Here are a couple of cars that stood out to us, we will post many more later this week with more info on what we thought of them. Here are a few teaser shots, will go more in depth on these later. A Visit to the Walter P Chrysler Museum
After the Walter P Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills closed its doors to the public at the end of 2012 (waning attendance meant that the museum could no longer cover its own costs), the Chrysler Foundation stepped in as curator to ensure that the historic items housed inside were safe. The plan is to use it for Chrysler functions and facility rentals for private events. (Mopar Blog anniversary party anybody? Not sayin’, just sayin’). Hot Rod magazine recently paid a visit to the museum. See the story at Hot Rod. Lots of pics after the jump!
2014 Chrysler 300 SRT Review
Left Lane reviewed the 2014 300 SRT. Overall, they seem impressed with the beast but points were lost due to its aging 5 speed transmission. When the new 8 speed mates with the 6.4, it should make a big performance difference. I’ll take mine in black thank you very much. Read the review at Left Lane. More pics after the jump!
