In September 1965, Hot Rod was invited to Chrysler’s Chelsea Proving Grounds to test drive a 1966 Coronet with the new 426 street Hemi. The review was favorable. (Pretty much a given if you can get air under all four tires!) Find more detail at Hot Rod. More pics after the jump!

Some Hellcat Engine Details Released
Dodge has released more information and photos of their new supercharged powerplant. One little tidbit: “The fuel system has an in-tank pump that accommodates variable pressures, half-inch fuel lines and eight high-flow injectors that can drain the car’s 18.5-gallon fuel tank in just 13 minutes when the engine is running at full power.” Strangely, that should not be impressive but it is. Find more info at MotorAuthority. More pics after the jump!

Check out BangShift for details on this ’71 Demon built as an honest tribute to an early seventies drag car. It was not built based on the owners drag strip memories but rather, by his twenty-something son! It has a lot of cool period pieces. More pics after the jump!

SpeedSportLife features a quick review of the Dodge Charger Super Bee and they like what they see. Love the Header Orange paint. More pics after the jump!
