Mopar Muscle Magazine called this “the coolest Daytona at SEMA” on their Facebook page. Maybe they are hiring interns who don’t know Mopars? Cause this is a Chevy-powered movie car. Note that the hood is closed… More pics after the jump!

Reader’s Rides: Dave Burden’s 1974 Dodge Challenger
Check out this cool E-body from Alberta, Canada. Here’s the word from Dave:
My name is Dave Burden and this is my 1974 Dodge Challenger custom. Her nickname is “The Wasp ” as you never know when she will bite you…lol. I found her in 1998 and have changed almost everything on her. She still has the stock 318 in her, only thing changed on the motor was adding a carter 4 barrel and dual 2 1/2″ exhaust. She has a 904 Slapstick auto with a stage 2 shift kit added and 3:73 suregrip pushing her. Custom paint…custom monster stereo system…totally custom interior.

Mopar Unveils Shaker Hood at 2013 SEMA Show
The Shaker hood is back. Yes, we’ve seen aftermarket versions for the Challenger, but this is a factory setup and is available on Challengers for the 2014 model year. That not good enough for you? The R/T Shaker packages includes the “Super Track Pak, with high-performance steering gear, brake linings and monotube shock absorbers, P245/45R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car three-season tires and three-mode electronic stability control (ESC) with “full off” mode.” Dodge also unveiled the New Mopar ’14 Challenger–only 100 of these will be built. Last but not least, the Scat Pack is officially back! This not only includes “three Mopar-engineered stage kits arriving in Spring 2014” but a whole club package reminiscent of the original Scat Pack. Lots more pics of the Mopar booth plus the full press release after the jump!

Northern California Mopar Barn Finds
Well, it isn’t just Mopars, and it isn’t exactly a barn, but you get the idea. Member migsBIG on Moparts managed to buy the 1970 440-6 Dodge Charger you see here. Check out the other stuff he found after the jump! Via Moparts
Happy Halloween from Mopar Blog!

The Fast and The Furious Charger is For Sale
Vin Diesel’s Charger from 2001’s “The Fast and The Furious” (the first installment) is up for sale. The 440, fake blower-equipped 1970 Charger is still wearing battle scars from its collision with a semi at the end of the movie. Would you leave it that way or rebuild it? (Assuming you have $700,000 kicking around). See it at Carbuzz. More pics after the jump!
Photos from the 2013 Fall Fling Mopar Show in Van Nuys, California
Just attended the Fall Fling Mopar Show in Van Nuys, California this weekend, so here are some shots from the show. This event is one of the best kept secrets in the nation, so many good parts show up at this swap meet. More pics after the jump!
Forgotten Movie Mopar: 1974 Dodge Charger from “Wheels of Terror”
We all remember “Christine.” We all remember “Duel.” But what about “Wheels of Terror”? Starring Joanna Cassidy and a sadistic ’74 Dodge Charger, this movie takes us on a wild ride through the Arizona desert as a madman in his brutal car terrorizes a small town and its inhabitants. While this little 1990 made-for-TV movie isn’t the best I’ve ever seen, it’s certainly worth checking out for the nasty looking custom Charger that really becomes a character in it’s own right. More pictures plus the FULL MOVIE after the jump!
