Back in 1969, just 640 M-Code 440-powered Darts were built for Chrysler by the Hurst-Campbell Corporation. Most of them were sold to drag racers, who then beat the living snot out of them. Today only about 30 cars are known to exist, and one of them is on eBay now for $99,900. This one looks to be a fully restored, numbers matching car. Manual steering, manual drum brakes and a 375 hp 440 under the hood. What is more pure than that? More pics plus the auction text after the jump!

Audioslave “Show Me How To Live” is an Awesome Vanishing Point Tribute
Totally forgot about this great video by Audioslave from 2003, based on everybody’s favorite Mopar movie Vanishing Point. According to the guys at Bangshift, they used two Challengers during the filming of the video and then gave one away to a lucky fan when they were done. Video after the jump!
More 2015 Challenger Hellcats Caught Testing
A large group of SRT cars was recently spotted out testing, including several Challengers prototypes with front bras hiding a revised front fascia for a lower air intake, plus different exhaust. These Challengers are most likely equipped with the new supercharged 6.2-liter “Hellcat” Hemi V8 which will help Mopar compete with the Camaro Z/28 and Mustang GT500. Power is predicted to be in the 600 horsepower range. The Hellcat Challengers are expected in 2014 as a 2015 model. See all the pics at Allpar
Vintage Dodge Charger Crash Test
Take a 1969 Dodge Charger and drive it into a concrete wall at 100 MPH and it will look like this. Not sure this crash test proved much, though, and I can’t find any info on why this test was done. Cars have gotten a lot safer since then, but I doubt a new car could save anyone with that kind of impact. Via StreetLegalTV
Instagram of the Week: Sunshine State Challenger SRT8
Almost forgot Instagram of the week! This week’s pic is a Challenger SRT8 with custom stripes done by The Sign Savers. Pic by Mopar_Man
Watch a Challenger SRT8 Walk Away from a Ferrari FF
You may remember Team Spankin Time from a video we posted last month of them spanking a McLaren MP4-12C. Well, they are not done humiliating supercars! Watch them leave a Ferrari FF after the jump! They also do the same thing to a 530 RWHP Z06. This Kenne Bell Supercharged Challenger runs 10s in street trim. Go Mopar!

TJ’s 360-powered 1965 Dodge Dart GT runs 7.0’s in the 1/8 mile at 96 mph. And it’s his daily driver on the street! More pics after the jump!

Video From the Mopars Unlimited 5th Annual Fred Meyer Meet and Greet
I think I need a camera with a wider lens. And more skill. But anyway, check out two videos after the jump–one quick tour of the show, and one short video of the beautiful 4-speed Hemi Road Runner! And if you missed the pics yesterday, you can see them here.
Reader’s Rides: Mick Thomches’ 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger
This is our second 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger reader’s ride this month! Pretty heavily modded, but still a bit more of a street car than Mike Moreck’s 1972 Swinger. Here’s the word from Mick:
Nice 360/480 h.p. crate motor, 3 sp. B+M Pro Street ratchet into 904 Performance tranny . Mini-tubbed 8 3/4 sure grip w/3:55 gears and Strange axles. Super Stock leafs w/Monroe Max Air shocks. Full AutoMeter instrumentation. Just a blast to drive.
