Check out Hot Rod for the story of Milburn Varner and his collection of Mopar cars that have sat untouched since he retired from the drag strip in the early seventies. He yanked the Hemi from a 1967 Belvedere GTX convertible to transplant to his race ‘Cuda! He still has both. He refuses to sell or restore, “I ain’t sellin’ this stuff–it’s all about braggin’ rights, and the money don’t mean as much as these old cars and all of the good memories they gave me.” That’s fine in my book but still, a bit of soap and water would do wonders. Dave Wren’s Super Stock 1970 Barracuda on eBay
After finding this Dave Wren Barracuda on eBay, and searching for more info online, it appears that the same car has been for sale many times over the years and often with the same description. it was on Carslist.co for $295,000, on CarPictures.com in 2008, and sold in June 2012 for $51,065 per CollectorCarPriceTracker.com (it’s possible that sale fell through.) A very cool car but not a lot of takers. See the auction at eBay! More pics after the jump.
