Win Two Challengers

In one corner, a 1970 Challenger R/T 440 4-speed. There were less than 100 built in black. This very car was chosen by Dodge to star in their commercial for the debut of the new for 2012 Challenger. In the other corner, a 2015 Challenger Hellcat X. As 707 hp was not deemed enough, they bolted on two turbochargers to bump the output to over 800 hp! The fine folks at Dream Giveaways have outdone themselves again. The winner also gets $40,000 to cover the taxes! Help some great charities and get a chance to win this dream team. Go to Dream Giveaway now to learn more about these beauties and to purchase tickets!

1970 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible on eBay

Barn Finds spotted this 1970 Barracuda on eBay. The 318 powered, somewhat plain Jane, E body shows some interior wear and lower body rust through but, overall, a very nice driver. We hope the new owner keeps it original and doesn’t turn it into yet another Hemi Cuda clone. Follow the energetic eBay bidding here. More pics and video tour after the jump!

Happy Mopar Canada Day

July 1st is Canada Day, a day when Canadians celebrate the founding of their country in 1867. It is similar in many respects July 4th but earlier (due, of course, to the earlier harvest). The love of Mopars runs strong north of the 49th as well. A perfect example is a great website; Maple Leaf Mopars, the Canadian edition of Cars in Barns. There are a lot of great barn finds, many with follow-up restored pics. This 1970 Challenger is just such an example. Find more info on this particular E body here. Restored pic after the jump.

Ramchargers 1970 Dodge Challenger in Hemmings

Said to be raced by the Ramchargers as their only Pro Stock car, this 1970 Challenger is well-worn but it would be incredibly historically significant if the sellers statements are indeed true. There is no powertrain but, even if there were, it would be highly unlikely to be the same engine that the Ramchargers worked on as the car went thru several iterations as it passed through various racers. The $150,000 asking price requires better pics though. Find the Hemmings ad here.

1970 Challenger R/T on Craigslist

Barns Finds has spied this snowbound Challenger on Craigslist. It’s not much to look at and the owner appears to have taken no steps to preserve their treasure but that doesn’t stop them from asking $18,000. Perhaps the biggest thing the car has going for it is that it’s a V code 440 Six Pack. No indication on it being numbers matching though. Find the Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!

Five Mopars in One Barn Find on Craigslist

BangShift has alerted us to one incredible barn find. Five, count ’em, five Mopars! While the “barn” is more of a storage facility, with concrete walls and floor, that’s nothing but good news as far as the condition of the finds; two 1970 Chargers, a 1971 340 Cuda, a Super Bee and a Dart Swinger! Find the Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!

81 Mile 1970 Hemi Cuda

This could be the Holy Grail of muscle cars; a virtually unused, unmolested 1970 Hemi Cuda. Purchased new with the intentions of being a strip car, it went into hibernation after the owner passed away shortly thereafter. This E-body is a museum piece that’s trading hands like a Picasso. Sold for half a million at Barrett in 2007, it’s now going across the auction block again at Mecum next month. Find more info at Barn Finds. More pics after the jump!

Wrecked Challenger Went to Auction

Back in January, we brought you a piece on a Dodge Challenger that met a telephone pole unexpectedly. Classic Dodge Challenger Wrecked Near Farmingdale, New Jersey. It appears the owner collected the insurance check and the insurance company got one banged up E body. Bangshift found the car on Copart, where it has since been sold. Here’s hoping the new owner brings her back to her former glory. Seeing the car immediately following the accident was painful enough but seeing her abandoned in a lot and covered in snow is heartbreaking. More pics after the jump.
