Barn Finds spotted this 1970 Barracuda on eBay. The 318 powered, somewhat plain Jane, E body shows some interior wear and lower body rust through but, overall, a very nice driver. We hope the new owner keeps it original and doesn’t turn it into yet another Hemi Cuda clone. Follow the energetic eBay bidding here. More pics and video tour after the jump!

1972 Chrysler Town and Country Wagon Survivor on Bring a Trailer
1969 Dodge Camper Special on Craigslist
Hooniverse has spied this very solid 3/4 ton pickup for sale in California. It is nicely equipped with a 383 and automatic and it even came with AC (but currently not working). A former school district maintenance truck in LA, it appears to be relatively rust free and the engine shows some evidence of recent work. The seller is asking a not too unreasonable $3900. 1970 Challenger R/T on Craigslist
Barns Finds has spied this snowbound Challenger on Craigslist. It’s not much to look at and the owner appears to have taken no steps to preserve their treasure but that doesn’t stop them from asking $18,000. Perhaps the biggest thing the car has going for it is that it’s a V code 440 Six Pack. No indication on it being numbers matching though. Find the Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!
1973 Plymouth Road Runner on Craigslist
Said to be a solid car that was parked back when Reagan was just getting comfortable in his new Pennsylvania Ave digs, Barn Finds found this 1973 Road Runner on Craigslist. It is equipped with a 318 of unknown condition but the sale also includes a 440 and 727. Asking price is $4500. Find the original Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!
Plymouth Superbird on Craigslist
Bring A Trailer found this unrestored Superbird on Craigslist in Orange County CA. Originally a 440 four speed car, a replacement engine now sits between the fenders. The original engine threw a rod but the damaged block does come with the car. The asking price is $92,000. Worth it? Find the original Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!
1998 Dodge Viper Prototype GT-3 Race Car on Craigslist
Hooniverse found this Viper race car on Craigslist. This car was actually a prototype built thru a partnership with Chrysler and, upon seeing the result, Chrysler decided to take the program in-house and created the Viper Competition Coupe! The car was reportedly stored from 2002 until 2014. Find a great write-up in the Craigslist ad. More pics after the jump!
The Other Auction – Gooding & Company
Lots of auctions are going on during auction week in Phoenix. Barrett-Jackson and Russo and Steele are the biggest but Gooding is pretty big, too. They tend to have more high end and European cars but they had a couple of Mopars. Of course we had to check them out…
One Mopar was a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. Was not so impressed with this car as it was missing its fender tag and was a 440-4 car. It is a 4-speed car though. Auction estimate was $80-100k!
Wednesday at Russo and Steele
Here are some highlights from the Russo and Steele auction from the Wednesday preview.
This is a 1970 Hemi Superbird and probably the best Mopar at Russo.
Tuesday at Barrett-Jackson
Tuesday is normally not a super exciting day at Barrett-Jackson, but since Barrett was selling the majority of the Ron Pratte collection that night, the room was full and the bidding was crazy. Ron is a big time collector in the Phoenix area and had been buying high end cars at Barrett-Jackson for years. He decided to liquidate his collection through BJ and it was very fun to watch. This included two Hemi Mopars that did very well. The first car up was a 1970 Dodge Charger with a 426 Hemi and a 4-speed. Bidding was furious and shot up to $190,000 right away–unseen levels for a Hemi B-Body. It ended up at $200,000. Here is a picture of the car:
