2014 Challenger to Get Launch Control

The Challenger will continue into 2014 with no major changes. One welcome addition, available on the 470 hp SRT8, will be launch control. Launch control is already available on the Camaro ZL1 and Shelby GT500. Just like back in the day, Chrysler still seems to be playing catch-up! The V6 model also gets new suspension and appearance packages consisting of 20-inch wheels, performance tires, 3:07 rear-end gearing, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a sport suspension, bigger brakes, and a new “Sport” shifting mode for the transmission. Write For Mopar Blog!

Yeah, we don’t pay anything. But think of the glory! Think of the bragging rights! The media access! The fun and excitement of seeing your name on the contributor list of the best little Mopar site on the interwebs! All we ask is that:

1) You 100% know your sh!t. (If you can’t tell the difference between a ’68 and ’69 Road Runner from a 100 yards away and/or “A12” means nothing to you, please do not apply. Enthusiasm is great, but it does not make up for lack of real knowledge.)

2) You can be somewhat regular with our posts. (Like, maybe once per week? Actual writing skills, punctuation and spelling is optional cause we can fix that stuff.)

Mopar Blog Now Has Classifieds!

I’ve noticed a bunch of people putting messages on our Facebook page about cars or parts for sale, so I added a classifieds system to Mopar Blog–you can see it on the top right of the navigation. It’s brand new and I haven’t really played with all the settings. But go here to list your stuff for sale–or stuff you are looking for. If it is a particularly cool or weird item I will also feature it on our Facebook page, which will get it in front of 30,000+ people! Anyway, try it out and let me know if you have any feedback.
