Hellcat Priced at $59,900

This pic was apparently snapped yesterday at a media event in Portland (we’ll be going down there to check out the Hellcat next week). So not only is the new Hellcat more powerful and faster in the quarter than the competition from Ford or Chevy, it’s priced well below the Z28 and is only a few grand more than the GT500 and ZL1. Cheaper than you thought? Some Hellcat Engine Details Released

Dodge has released more information and photos of their new supercharged powerplant. One little tidbit: “The fuel system has an in-tank pump that accommodates variable pressures, half-inch fuel lines and eight high-flow injectors that can drain the car’s 18.5-gallon fuel tank in just 13 minutes when the engine is running at full power.” Strangely, that should not be impressive but it is. Find more info at MotorAuthority. Wrap Up From the Charles Kee Estate Sale

The Charles Kee Estate Sale was May 8th and 9th in Brothers, Oregon and it was a blast to attend. They had 1000 boxes of parts for sale and 200 cars, most of it Mopar! I was there from the front lines bidding and buying parts along with a bunch of other Mopar fanatics.  The cars ended up going for pretty cheap, most at not much more than scrap prices with a few exceptions. The parts were a little more expensive but lots of treasures were to be found in the hundreds and hundreds of banana boxes that Charles Kee used to store stuff.  It is hard to show the scale of how many parts were here but we tried with this picture.
