A12 Road Runner Featured on Muscle Car of the Week
The narrator calls it a “440 six pack” when that was a Dodge thing. Plymouth went by “440 Six Barrel.” Still, a cool feature on a cool car, even if the guy never starts it up. Claimed to be the first A12 Road Runner produced, and the one Ronnie Sox drove to a 12.91 quarter mile at 111 mph. Probably doomed to be a trailer queen the rest of its live. Still, check out the video after the jump!

1965 Plymouth Belvedere I A-990 with Just 219 Miles on eBay
Of course, like any super rare, valuable car, this one has some controversy around it–specifically around the removal of the VIN tag. Seem legit? Seller claims just 219 miles on this A-990 car, which appears very complete and intact. They only made 101 of these Hemi race cars in 1965. Bidding is already over $100,000. More pics plus eBay auction text after the jump!
Hemi Superbird Barn Find
You’re looking at a very orginal 4-speed 1970 Hemi Superbird with just 14,000 miles. FJ5 Limelight Green with a white bucket seat interior. The current owner bought it in 1972 in the condition you see in the pics below–the original Hemi had spun a bearing and had been placed in the trunk! The Superbird was stored in Oaklahoma until just recently. Now it’s in Illinois with Magnum Auto Restoration and is about to undergo a full restoration. More pics after the jump! Via Moparts
Mopars at the 2013 EyesOn Design Car Show
These pics from the June 16, 2013 EyesOn Design Car Show were posted over on the LX Forums Facebook page. More Mopars after the jump, including the famous Chrysler Turbine car and Dodge Deora!
Movie Mopar of the Week: 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible from The Brady Bunch
This week’s movie Mopar is the 1971 Plymouth Barracuda convertible from the Brady Bunch. It’s a plain jain B5 318 automatic car, but of course any 1971 Barracuda convertible is cool cause they made so few of them–just 722 in total. I had a hard time finding any clips with the Barracuda on YouTube, but I did manage to find one where Greg is at a drive-in with a date, only to have Bobby screw it up (along with the Barracuda’s convertible top). Check it out after the jump! Pic via IMCDB
2013 Mega Mopar Car Show at Maple Grove Raceway
BangShift has tons of great pics from the 2013 Mega Mopar Car Show at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania this past weekend. Looks like the High Impact E-bodies were out in force! I have a few more pics after the jump (including a wicked black ’67 GTX) but you can see the rest at BangShift (and they just added some drag racing pics here). And be sure to check out the winners at maplegroveraceway.com
Mopars in the Junkyard in Turlock, California
Mark Brooks shot these pics last year at a wrecking yard in Turlock, California. Bet they’d probably try to save some of these on the East Coast! See more pics after the jump and you can see the full set on Mark’s page on Facebook!
Funny Car Modeling
Great how-to article on funny car modeling at BangShift by Steve Magnante. Pictured below: Sox & Martin ’64 Plymouth and Ramchargers ’64 Dodge built by Steve in the late Seventies when he was 14!
