A Phoenix Daytona
We’re all for saving/restoring every Mopar that has led a rough life, especially a winged warrior. However, there comes a point where you simply have no choice but to say a small prayer then scavenge it for parts. This 1969 Charger Daytona was bulldozed into a ravine to make way for a dam! Per the story at BangShift, the plan is to rebuild the poor girl. That would be great but the result would simply be a 1969 Charger with a nose cone, wing, window plug and a Daytona VIN. Hurst Hemi Under Glass Tribute 1968 Dodge Dart on eBay
Featured in the August 2014 issue of Mopar Collectors Guide, this 1968 Dart is now for sale on eBay. Originally a slant six car, it was built to resemble a Super Stocker, complete with a 712 horsepower Hemi! A change of ownership and the car was then transformed into a tribute to Bob Riggle and his Hemi Under Glass II. (purely a tribute as there never was a Hemi Under Glass II Dart). The one off white tires were added as the owner like Tyco slot cars from the 70’s that had white tires! The Challenger Returns to the Trans Am Series
