The Plymouth Road Runner is perhaps my favourite Mopar. Plymouth saw a need in the market place for a muscle car with the emphasis on muscle. Keep it simple, keep it light, keep it cheap. It worked. Sure you could equip it with the Hemi and a whole list of options but even the basic post car with the 383, 4 speed, steel wheels and bench seat just looked “right”. Allpar has done a great write-up on the car. Grab a coffee and read about it here!

Plain Jane 318-powered 1968 Dodge Coronet on eBay
Man, this thing is clean. Just 58,000 miles. The guys on Moparts had a few qualms about the trim, but really, what’s not to like? More pics plus eBay ad text after the jump!
1968 Dodge Charger 383 4-Speed on eBay
Speaking of green Chargers… here’s a nice one–just one owner til August of last year. Not quite restored or a “survivor,” but just a very well maintained and loved rust-free Arizona 4-speed car. Other than the sagging leaf springs it doesn’t seem like there is a whole lot you’d have to address on this cool big block B-body. More pics plus eBay ad text after the jump!
1968 Sox and Martin Barracuda for Sale
An actual 1968 Plymouth Barracuda once owned by Sox and Martin is for sale! It was the last car actually raced by Sox with documentation to prove it. It is 1 of only 50 factory-made drag cars meant for the elite teams. These cars do not become available very often. This is a true piece of Mopar history. Albeit, one at a quarter of a million dollars. See the listing at RPM Motor Cars with more info on the car atStreet Legal TV. And be sure to check out more pictures after the jump!
1968 Dart as Spec’d Out by an Engineer
What happens when an engineer with a demand for detail acquires a heavily modified ’68 Dart powered by a 6.1 Hemi and sporting a Keisler transmission, B&M shifter, RMS suspension and a Strange Dana S60? Tear it down and build it again of course! The car went through a major second rebuild with virtually all new sheet metal, suspension, interior and an Indy Cylinder Head 6.1 Hemi. All that and he kept the Strange Dana S60! End result: 660 HP at 6900 rpm. You can’t second guess the man. Find the full story, and the build-in-process pictures, at Street Legal TV. More pictures after the jump.
Reader’s Rides: Danney Meyer’s 1968 Dodge Chargers
Most people would kill to have just one 1968 Dodge Charger. But what about having two of them? And what if they were wheelstanding drag cars? Writes Danny:
These are our two 68 chargers that are our drag cars. Red one had a 572 cubic inch motor makes about 950 on the motor and has a 300 shot on it. Indy 441 heads, builds a ton of torque! Black one has a 622 cubic ich motor with fastmanefi just put on it, it’s now making about 1300 on the motor! Couple of beautiful full steel body cars that go out and kick some ass in bracket racing on the weekends. Another couple of beautiful mopars!

Mike Musto’s Mopars
I’ve known Mike for several years now and got to drive the Daytona shortly after he finished the build. Last year, Mike devoted an episode of Big Muscle to his ’68 Charger and his ’69 Daytona, and with over half a million views, I’d say people like his old B-bodies. Check out the episode after the jump!
Beat Up 1968 Dodge Charger Does a Wicked Driveway Burnout
Hey, got the Charger running a bit better. Why not do a wicked driveway burnout? Video after the jump! Via Dodge Forum
