saabkyle04 has built up a huge following on Youtube doing reviews of late model cars. He has taken a close look at a few older cars, though, including this 1970 Plymouth Superbird. He’s pretty nerdy, but he does own a Mopar. Full 16 minute Superbird video review with plenty of good Mopar engine noises after the jump!

Lots of Cool Mopars at the 2013 CEMA Charity Car Show
Looks like the Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association had a good turnout for their annual show this past weekend on the grounds of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan. One of the coolest cars was undoubtably Doug Schellinger’s 1970 Plymouth Superbird. You can see a bunch more pics at Mac’s Motor City Garage.
1970 Challenger 340 Convertible Barn Find
This green 4-speed 340 Challenger convertible has been sitting in a shack near San Francisco since 1978! Just 70,000 miles–it was parked when the clutch started to slip– and same owner since 1989! Right now the owner is trying to figure out what it’s worth, and whether to sell. I bet there’d be a lot of interest in this one if it did come up for sale… Tons of pics after the jump! Via Moparts
Purple 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite
Here’s one more B-body from the Mopars Unlimited Spring Roundup in Seattle this weekend. The purple Sport Satellite drove over 1,000 miles to get to the show from Calgary, Alberta Canada–through Montana and then over the snowy Chinook Pass at over 6000 feet of elevation! Not bad for an old carbureted Mopar! More pics after the jump–in the snow and at the show! Snow pics via Moparts
Movie Mopar of the Week: 1970 Dodge Challenger from Death Proof
Tarantino loves to reference other movies in his films, and the white 1970 Dodge Challenger from Death Proof overtly referenced the Challenger from Vanishing Point. All E-bodies have frameless windows so they had to weld in frames for the “masthead” stunt. You can check out the whole chase scene with the ’69 Charger after the jump!

Stunning 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda on eBay
The seller lists this heavily documented, fully restored Hemi ‘Cuda as “investment grade” and it seems to have everything going for it except the original engine. I love the Ivy Green Metallic with brown leather interior, but I’m guessing many collectors might find this combo less desirable than some of the high impact colors available that year. The car is listed at $189,900. Not chump change! More pics after the jump and be sure to check out the auction at eBay!
Update: didn’t make the reserve so it’s still on sale at the dealer’s website.

1970 Plymouth Satellite Cop Car in Seattle
I’ve seen this car in person a few times at the Mopars Unlimited Spring Roundup and it’s very cool. But now it’s gotten featured by the Associated Press and has been picked up by a bunch of mainstream blogs. Read the full article at Komo News!
