This factory Hemi Superbird spent its early life at the drag strip and was once powered by a 426 built by Sox and Martin. Later it received a 440 and its current custom paint job. The hunt is on for it’s numbers matching Hemi. Find more info at Hemmings.

Marv Eldridge’s 1970 LA Challenger on eBay
This historic drag car has lived many lives. It was first raced in 1969 by Fred Goseke as a 1969 Road Runner. Marv Eldridge then re-bodied it as a 1970 Challenger, named it “LA Challenger,” and participated in the 1970 Cavalcade of Stars tour. It was later sold to Bob Taylor who raced it as the “Time Machine II.” It was then sold again and raced under the name “Trail Blazer.” The current owner embarked on a complete restoration to return it to it’s Marv Eldridge’s “LA Challenger” days.
