The Truth About Cars takes a quick look at the 2017 300S, consisting of some slight exterior and interior changes/updates. Here’s a sobering thought; you’re looking at one half of the vehicles making up Chrysler’s 2017 lineup. That can’t be good.

The 6.4L powered Chrysler 300 SRT has returned in 2016 but only for the Australian marketplace. It’s interesting to note that, while SRT no longer stands alone in North America after having been merged with Dodge, the Australian 300 SRT displays no Chrysler emblems. Find more info at Left Lane. The next car we are featuring looks like it was one of Charles Kee’s personal cars he wanted to keep. It is a 1962 Chrysler 300 2-door with a big block engine. This is a really nice car, and like many others, Charles Kee put blankets over the dash and seats to preserve them from the desert sun.
One of my Bucket List cars, the 1970 Hurst Edition Chrysler 300, in all it’s white and gold glory. Hooniverse recently located this ridiculously overpriced one on Craigslist, reigniting their “Is it an Obscure Muscle Car?” question. More pics after the jump.
The SRT level Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300s are getting new Satin Vapor Editions. Black satin chrome 20 inch alloys, Nappa leather/suede and red Brembo calipers help to separate your SRT from all those run-of-the-mill SRT’s out there. Now which one to buy? See more at CarBuzz. Left Lane reviewed the 2014 300 SRT. Overall, they seem impressed with the beast but points were lost due to its aging 5 speed transmission. When the new 8 speed mates with the 6.4, it should make a big performance difference. I’ll take mine in black thank you very much. Read the review at Left Lane. More pics after the jump!
We just found these five 1962 Chrysler’s in Bellingham, Washington. Not sure why somebody would let these things sit in a swampy area for 15 years but it happened. We just saved these from going to the crusher and the cars are:
See more pictures below. What would you do with these? They are pretty rough.
The Chrysler 300, recently revised in 2011, is receiving a new appearance package in 2014 in an effort to keep things fresh. Gloss black is used for the traditionally chrome trim pieces as well as a nice looking Ambassador Blue leather interior. It will be available with both the V6 and V8. I saw a Cool Vanilla Magnum in traffic the other day and was struck by how unique that color looks. It’s a very creamy white that looks great in my opinion. I couldn’t find any photos online that really do it justice–the photo below from 300Cforums came closest. This color saw a fairly limited production between 2005 and 2006 with a brief return in 2008 on some Chargers. More infe at Chargerforums and LXforums.
