This just popped up on YouTube. The guy who shot the video stumbled across a pretty wild Mopar stash which was in the process of being moved to avoid some sort of Aussie government land repossession. After first spotting a Challenger on a trailer out on the street, he managed to talk his way into a tin shed containing several Chargers plus a few wing cars up under the eves. Apparently some were used in movies? Check out the cool collection after the jump!

2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Core: 470 horsepower for Just $38,995
As DodgeForum points out, the 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Core is the most powerful car you can buy under $40,000. Mopar has always been about performance bang for the buck and the Core gets you just that: basically a stripped down, no-nonsense SRT8 Challenger. Here’s how the guys at SRT describe it:
The new 2013 Challenger SRT Core vehicle stands out thanks to its black grille and functional rear spoiler, ‘392’ badge on the front fender and 20-inch cast aluminum five-spoke wheels with black-painted pockets. Brembo® brakes stay and are finished in black for a more understated appearance. The SRT Viper lends its ballistic cloth material to the Challenger SRT Core for aggressively bolstered seats in Dark Slate Gray. Door inserts are finished in an “Axle” textile and a mini-carbon bezel instrument panel completes the appearance.
We describe it as everything you want, and nothing you don’t need. Build yours here. Pic of the Plum Crazy 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Core via Challengertalk
Dodge Scores a Win in NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
Pete Shepherd III won the EMCO 200 at the Delaware, Ontario Speedway this weekend, driving the #7 Dodge Challenger. He took the lead after 150 laps and held on to win. “The car was awesome. We knew if we could stay out of trouble early on that we could race for the win at the end.” Dodge was dominant in this race: seven of the top ten finishers were Dodge cars. Via Allpar
Dodge Challenger Factory Tour
National Geographic has a series called Ultimate Factories, and in this 2011 episode they took a close look at the Brampton, Ontario plant where the Dodge Challenger is built, along with the Saltillo, Mexico plant where the Hemi is built. The Challenger, which shares the line with the Charger and 300, takes just 20 hours to go from raw steel to a running, driving Mopar. Watch the entire process in the 45 minute episode after the jump!

1970 Challenger 340 Convertible Barn Find
This green 4-speed 340 Challenger convertible has been sitting in a shack near San Francisco since 1978! Just 70,000 miles–it was parked when the clutch started to slip– and same owner since 1989! Right now the owner is trying to figure out what it’s worth, and whether to sell. I bet there’d be a lot of interest in this one if it did come up for sale… Tons of pics after the jump! Via Moparts
