Motorweek takes the Hellcat stable mates to a track for a workout. In thirty plus years of watching Motorweek, this is the first time that I’ve heard John Davis say “Here kitty kitty”. Video after the jump!

Happy July 4th from Mopar Blog!
Happy Mopar Canada Day
July 1st is Canada Day, a day when Canadians celebrate the founding of their country in 1867. It is similar in many respects July 4th but earlier (due, of course, to the earlier harvest). The love of Mopars runs strong north of the 49th as well. A perfect example is a great website; Maple Leaf Mopars, the Canadian edition of Cars in Barns. There are a lot of great barn finds, many with follow-up restored pics. This 1970 Challenger is just such an example. Find more info on this particular E body here. Restored pic after the jump.
Drag Pak Challengers
Carbuzz has a piece on the 2016 Dodge Drag Pak Challenger. You have two engine choices, 426 or supercharged 354. One of each maybe? Find more info at Carbuzz. More pics after the jump!
Ramchargers 1970 Dodge Challenger in Hemmings
Said to be raced by the Ramchargers as their only Pro Stock car, this 1970 Challenger is well-worn but it would be incredibly historically significant if the sellers statements are indeed true. There is no powertrain but, even if there were, it would be highly unlikely to be the same engine that the Ramchargers worked on as the car went thru several iterations as it passed through various racers. The $150,000 asking price requires better pics though. Find the Hemmings ad here.
1970 Challenger R/T on Craigslist
Barns Finds has spied this snowbound Challenger on Craigslist. It’s not much to look at and the owner appears to have taken no steps to preserve their treasure but that doesn’t stop them from asking $18,000. Perhaps the biggest thing the car has going for it is that it’s a V code 440 Six Pack. No indication on it being numbers matching though. Find the Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!
AutoNation and Dodge on One Lap of America
AutoNation is sponsoring the 2015 One Lap of America and Dodge stepped up to the plate to provide two vehicles: a 2015 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack to be driven by Mike Musto, plus a Dodge Durango being driven as an official media vehicle. Here’s the Challenger right after it was picked up last night at the Chicago airport. The event starts tomorrow at the Tire Rack Wet Skid Pad in South Bend, Indiana. More pics after the jump!
Challenger Hellcat Runs in the 10s
Ricci Cavallaro took a bone-stock 2015 Challenger Hellcat to Pittsburgh Raceway Park, swapped out the OEM rubber for Nitto NT05 tires measuring 305/45/r18, and made a 10.97 pass on his first run! Two subsequent runs were also in the 10s. Read more at Torque News. Videos of his first two runs after the jump!
Roadkill, Dodge Style
Roadkill is now sponsored by Dodge. Hmmm. Watch their latest episode and tell us what you think. Video after the jump!
