1970 Dodge Challenger R/T
This heavily optioned, mostly stock, Hemi-powered 1970 Challenger is featured in Hot Rod. The engine was beefed up internally to add durability but most everything else is pretty much how it was from day one. I’m kinda liking the Dark Burnt Orange Metallic paint. Update: Motor Trend Calls BS on these Spy Shots
LeftLane has some photos of what appears to be the 2015 Challenger Hellcat, replete with bulging hood and cold air intake. Now that the “run-of-the-mill” 2015 Challengers have been released, they seem to have relaxed their guard re the front and rear covers. The unique hood is a tip off to something special lurking beneath. You can also see SRT on the wheel centers with some serious Brembo brake calipers behind. More pics after the jump!
1970 Dodge Challenger T/A to be Restored
Patience can pay off. The new owner of this Challenger T/A waited 14 years for the car’s second owner (who bought it in 1973) to finally sell it. As they only made 2,400 of these cars, that’s one heck of a find. Find the story at Car in Barns. More pics after the jump!

New Challenger in May?
So the last rumor had the debut of the new Challenger at the Southern California LX Club. That didn’t happen. The next possible venue is the New York Auto Show in mid-April but Ralph Gilles says that the car’s reveal is still two and a half months away. The Challenger, Charger and 300 are all getting a refresh for the 2015 model year. The Challenger is expected first. Find more info at Allpar.
2015 Dodge Challenger Video and Spy Shots
KGP Photography captured video of the 2015 Challenger, albiet with the usual masks front and rear. They appear to disguise the only outside changes to the new car but the video also includes some still shots of the interior, which appears to be all new. Mr. Norms 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 426 Hemi
You’re looking at a 1971 triple black Dodge Challenger R/T equipped with a 426 Hemi and a 4-speed that was sold new at Norm Kraus’ Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago.
