Vin Diesel’s Charger from 2001’s “The Fast and The Furious” (the first installment) is up for sale. The 440, fake blower-equipped 1970 Charger is still wearing battle scars from its collision with a semi at the end of the movie. Would you leave it that way or rebuild it? (Assuming you have $700,000 kicking around). See it at Carbuzz. More pics after the jump!

Forgotten Movie Mopar: 1974 Dodge Charger from “Wheels of Terror”
We all remember “Christine.” We all remember “Duel.” But what about “Wheels of Terror”? Starring Joanna Cassidy and a sadistic ’74 Dodge Charger, this movie takes us on a wild ride through the Arizona desert as a madman in his brutal car terrorizes a small town and its inhabitants. While this little 1990 made-for-TV movie isn’t the best I’ve ever seen, it’s certainly worth checking out for the nasty looking custom Charger that really becomes a character in it’s own right. More pictures plus the FULL MOVIE after the jump!
Slammed Charger SRT8
Check out this Charger SRT8 kissing the asphalt. This style may not be for everyone but you have to admit, it certainly has presence. The lowering came thanks to a Universal Air suspension with BC coils and custom rear arms from Jay’s Hot Rods. The wheels were custom made by Avant Garde. Sized at 21×10.5-13 up front and 21×12.5-23 in the rear! Find more detail at StanceNation. More pictures after the jump!

Vintage Mopar NASCAR Photo of the Week: Cotton Owens at the 67 Daytona Firecracker 400
This photo of the #6 Cotton Owens Dodge Charger at speed was taken at the 1967 Daytona Firecracker 400. The #21 Ford in front is the Wood Brothers car driven by Cale Yarborough who went on to win the race.
Did you know that this was the car used in the Elvis movie Speedway? It is a terrible movie but very 60s. They did all the racing shots on the East Coast and all the close ups were in Hollywood using West Coast racer Jack McCoy’s Charger painted up like the Owens car.
1968 Dodge Charger 383 4-Speed on eBay
Speaking of green Chargers… here’s a nice one–just one owner til August of last year. Not quite restored or a “survivor,” but just a very well maintained and loved rust-free Arizona 4-speed car. Other than the sagging leaf springs it doesn’t seem like there is a whole lot you’d have to address on this cool big block B-body. More pics plus eBay ad text after the jump!
All in the Family 1969 Chargers
These two beautiful Chargers, both sporting F8 Dark Green paint, share garage space in Ohio. The Charger was purchased new by the current owners father in 1969. Both father and son then fell hard for the new Charger Daytona but never did make the plunge. Over the years, the Charger received several upgrades and was restored. Then, in 2001, the son was able to fulfill the dream shared with his now departed father and found a Charger Daytona, also in F8 Dark Green! Read more detail here at Auto Enthusiast. The Charger Pursuit is Officially the Fastest Cop Car
I’m not sure if this is good news or bad new but the Charger Pursuit, equipped with the 370 horse 5.7 Hemi, is the fastest police car on the market, both in RWD and AWD. Both cars clocked their record setting times at Michigan’s Grattan Raceway with the Michigan State Police behind the wheel. In my book it also wins the Best Looking Police Package award. Find the full story here in CarBuzz. More pictures after the jump.
