Jalopnik’s 2013 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona Review
Jalopnik recently drove a 2013 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona all over Texas, and managed to snap a pic of it in front of the “Playboy Marfa” art installation I told you about last month. Although the reviewer seemed to like the car, he was disappointed by the 5-speed automatic and the quiet exhaust note. Oh, and the fuel economy. Well, the exhaust is an easy fix. Last year, Mike devoted an episode of Big Muscle to his ’68 Charger and his ’69 Daytona, and with over half a million views, I’d say people like his old B-bodies. 1966 Dodge Charger Daytona Conversion at the Woodward Dream Cruise
This is the fourth strange Dayotona conversion we’ve shown you recently. If you missed the others there was the 1974 Charger Daytona convertion, the 1973 Charger Daytona conversion and the 1969 Coronet Daytona conversion. Olympia Charger
Heard of the Olympia Charger? This NASCAR Dodge ran the 24 hours of Le Mans back in 1976. It then returned in 2006 for the Le Mans Classic and has gone back several times since then! I have some great video from its run in the rain last year after the jump!
1969 Dodge Charger Wrecked
This story is from a few years back. And I don’t know that it really proves anything. But I’m posting it anyway.
The photo below shows what this beautiful 1969 Dodge Charger looked like before the wreck. If you have the stomach for it, click through to see what the Charger looked like after it got t-boned by a large truck and then slammed into a guard rail. Thankfully the driver was ok. Via RideLust
2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat Spotted Testing
The Challenger isn’t the only Mopar getting the new supercharged 6.2 liter Hemi. The 2015 Dodge Charger is expected to get it, too, and maybe even the 300C. This Charger was spotted testing the new 6.2 liter Hemi Hellcat recently, along with several Challengers. So if you like four doors, worry not. The Hellcat is coming. Via Allpar
