This week’s movie Mopar is the 1971 Plymouth Barracuda convertible from the Brady Bunch. It’s a plain jain B5 318 automatic car, but of course any 1971 Barracuda convertible is cool cause they made so few of them–just 722 in total. I had a hard time finding any clips with the Barracuda on YouTube, but I did manage to find one where Greg is at a drive-in with a date, only to have Bobby screw it up (along with the Barracuda’s convertible top). This green 4-speed 340 Challenger convertible has been sitting in a shack near San Francisco since 1978! Just 70,000 miles–it was parked when the clutch started to slip– and same owner since 1989! Right now the owner is trying to figure out what it’s worth, and whether to sell. I bet there’d be a lot of interest in this one if it did come up for sale… Tons of pics after the jump! Via Moparts

The seller claims this old B-body vert has just 63,000 miles and was fully restored in the early 2000s. All I can say is it’s a knockout. 361 power, push button tranny! Have mercy! More pics and ad text after the jump! Or check it out on eBay

This car was recently found in Nebraska. Looks like an amazing project. Under all the dust and grime is a fairly solid B7 4-speed car. They only made 1,880 Road Runner Convertibles in 1969, and only 769 of those were 4 speeds. They are still out there, folks. More pics plus video after the jump! Via Moparts
Road Runner convertibles are my favorite B-body verts. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in Spanish Gold before. This one is equipped with an automatic, bucket seats and a working Air Grabber. It’s not numbers matching but assuming it’s solid, I’d love it have it! More pics after the jump! And be sure to check out the auction on eBay!
