Ok, not really… While we were down in Portland testing the Hellcat we also got to check out all the other 2015 Challengers. Ryan Douthit of Driving Sports shot the Hellcat video we posted last week (hanging out the back of a minivan on PIR). He also shot the video below with a R/T Scat Pack car, using Steve Cook’s beautiful 1969 Super Bee for a bit of historical perspective. Watch the video after the jump!

Leno Test Drives the Challenger Hellcat
Jay Leno reviews the Hellcat with Dodge president and CEO Tim Kuniskis. Why build a car with over 700 horsepower? The Challenger is a heavier car than the competition. So they went to their SRT engineers and simply said “Let’s get absolutely crazy with the horsepower and shut everybody up.” Bravo! Video after the jump.

Free SRT Hellcat Ringtone
Dodge is offering their Hellcat roar as a ringtone. I got mine. Get yours at SRT. Some nice wallpaper too!
Mike Musto Drives the Hellcat
Here’s the Hellcat video featuring Mike Musto that we helped produce for AutoNation. I think it came out pretty good, despite flight delays and a whole lot of rain. Thanks to Mike Volz and Stephen Cook for bringing out their old B-bodies, and to Ryan Douthit for doing a great job hanging out the back of the minivan at speed in the rain! Watch the video, then check out the pics after the jump!
2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat
Road & Track has some spy shots of the Charger Hellcat. Not surprisingly, it appears to share many of the features of the supercharged Challenger: wheels, brakes, chin spoiler, trunk lid spoiler and that hood scoop. Ralph Gilles should be displaying it’s absurd power for all to see in October. More pics after the jump!
The Charger is Getting the Hellcat
So says Road & Track, referring to documentation related to certifying the horsepower and torque of a Charger equipped with the Hellcat engine. You kids back there buckle up!
Gratuitous Hellcat Burnout and 1/4 Mile Run
Watch the Dodge Challenger Hellcat run a 12.14 elapsed time at the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals in Colorado (which is at 8600 feet while being piloted by non-professional Richard Rawlings). Find more info at Street Legal TV. Video after the jump!
Heading to Portland to Drive the Hellcat
We are heading down to Portland today to check out the all-new Hellcat and the rest of the 2015 Challenger lineup. Stay tuned for pics and video! Be sure to watch our Facebook page and our Instagram account for the most recent pics!
Hellcat Priced at $59,900
This pic was apparently snapped yesterday at a media event in Portland (we’ll be going down there to check out the Hellcat next week). So not only is the new Hellcat more powerful and faster in the quarter than the competition from Ford or Chevy, it’s priced well below the Z28 and is only a few grand more than the GT500 and ZL1. Cheaper than you thought? Via Jalopnik
