Here’s one for our growing WTF category. This custom Comanche will either sear your eyeballs or make you laugh. I kind of like it, but wish they’d picked a Ranger or S-10. A lot of work plus a fair amount of misguided creativity went into this thing. To add insult to injury, it now has SBC power. More pics plus Craigslist ad text after the jump! Via Jalopnik

Reader’s Rides: Gregory Torfin’s 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.8L Turbo Project
On Monday we showed you Gregory’s Challenger. Well, he has a pretty cool Jeep, too!
Ordered the Jeep In February 2011 for my wife…..been modding it ever since. It’s my wife’s daily driver with 34K on it now…24K miles since I did the turbo install. The next step will be a blown Hemi….just don’t have all the funds for it now with two girls in college and two girls in elementary school!!
Lots more pics plus all the specs after the jump!

Jeep in the Pool!
Why not? It’s summer. (Or almost summer.) Makes perfect sense to drive that old Jeep Cherokee into the pool! Video after the jump! Via Jalopnik
Drift Jeep
When you think of drifting, what is the LAST vehicle you think of? A Jeep? Me, too. (Ok, so this thing is based on a Silvia S14.) Video after the jump (and the translations from Japanese are pretty hilarious).
1967 Jeep J2000 Gladiator on eBay
This Jeep is being sold out of Abbotsford, British Columbia but apparently it spent most of its life in California with one owner and looks remarkably rust free. Power comes from the original 327 Vigilante mated to a 4 speed. Just 122,000 miles and original paint! What’s not to love? Auction is no reserve and bidding is up to $6,400 with a little over a day to go! Tons of pics after the jump but be sure to check out the auction on eBay!
Update: it sold for $10,000 after 62 bids! Not bad!
