This car has been featured all over the net and from this pic you can probably tell why. Brad Riepe of Iowa bought this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner at age 16 in 1983 for $100, but the transformation didn’t start until 1999, when he bought a NHRA Pro Stock Hemi. The motor is pushing a whopping 1,300 hp and Brad keeps things in control with a Viper suspension and big Wilwood brakes. More pics plus some video after the jump! Crazy Pro Touring 1972 Plymouth Satellite on eBay
This thing has all the goodies from modern 6.1 Hemi power to big Willwood brakes. Wheels are custom Boze Alloy with Yokohama Advan STs–235/55R18 front and 305/45R20 rear. External mods include a ’72 Road Runner grille and a tucked ’71 Road Runner bumper. I dig the fiberglass hood with the old school Air Grabber. See more pics after the jump and check out the auction at eBay!
Update: it got bid up to $35,300 but reserve not met. Is the pro touring thing played out?
