Barn Finds located this 1971 Plymouth Road Runner on eBay. Said to be stock with some rust in the floor and roof, (that roof looks worrisome) it looks like a good candidate for a restoration. It depends on what the reserve is of course. Follow the bidding here on eBay. More pics after the jump!
1972 Plymouth Road Runner 440+6
A 1972 Plymouth six barrel car? Never existed you say? Well apparently one sunroof Road Runner was built. It is now part of the Brothers collection and is this week’s Muscle Car of the Week. (I just wish they’d stop calling it a Plymouth six pack!). Video after the jump!
Mopar Collection for Sale
Barn Finds located this collection of Mopars for sale on Craigslist. The owner is purging three running projects; a 1969 GTX 440 for $9500, a 1972 Charger 340 for $8500 and a 1972 400 big blocked powered Road Runner, also for $8500. Rust and bondo are present but the owner is open to an offer on all three. More pics after the jump.
AutoNation Brings Back the Road Runner
AutoNation recently licensed the Road Runner from Warner Brothers. Everyone’s favorite bird makes an appearance in AutoNation’s new Drive Pink campaign (after the jump).
The Road Runner was created for Warner Brothers back in 1948 and was later licensed to Plymouth in 1968 for the legendary/affordable muscle car (for a reported sum of $50,000). We are guessing that AutoNation paid a bit more for the privilege.
1968 Plymouth Road Runner on Craigslist
Barn Finds located this 1968 Road Runner on Craigslist. The seller does not provide much detail on this originally 383 powered four speed car other than having a clear title. There appears to be an engine in there (in both the engine compartment and interior). The asking price is $3000. Is it worth it? Find the Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!
Muted 1970 Plymouth Road Runner
Firstly, the word muted describes only the black, grey and silver color scheme on this wild 1970 Road Runner restomod. There’s no calling a 725 hp, 477 ci Keith Black aluminum Hemi powered B body conservative. A cast-off stunt car from of one of the Fast and Furious movies, owner Jamie Vickers transformed it into the beast you see here. Find more info at Hot Rod. More pics after the jump!
1973 Plymouth Road Runner on Craigslist
Said to be a solid car that was parked back when Reagan was just getting comfortable in his new Pennsylvania Ave digs, Barn Finds found this 1973 Road Runner on Craigslist. It is equipped with a 318 of unknown condition but the sale also includes a 440 and 727. Asking price is $4500. Find the original Craigslist ad here. More pics after the jump!
6000 Mile Survivor 1968 Hemi Road Runner
Joe Grass of Michigan bought this Hemi Road Runner in September of 1968. A run-in with the law in 1970 resulted in a damaged engine so he parked it. For 45 years! An engine rebuild and some TLC and she’s back. Read the entire story at Hot Rod. More pics after the jump!
