You’re looking at a numbers matching 4-speed Rallye Green 1969 1/2 Plymouth Road Runner. It originally came with a white top and white interior. How cool is that? Yes, it is rough–just look at the shot of the door after the jump–and probably overpriced, but it would be an awesome project for someone–it could end up looking like this when done. It didn’t sell on eBay for the $35,000 Buy It Now, and apparently it is now sitting at Carlisle with a $39,000 asking price. More pics after the jump!

A12 Road Runner Featured on Muscle Car of the Week
The narrator calls it a “440 six pack” when that was a Dodge thing. Plymouth went by “440 Six Barrel.” Still, a cool feature on a cool car, even if the guy never starts it up. Claimed to be the first A12 Road Runner produced, and the one Ronnie Sox drove to a 12.91 quarter mile at 111 mph. Probably doomed to be a trailer queen the rest of its live. Still, check out the video after the jump!
OCD Customs 1968 Plymouth Road Runner
The guys at OCD Customs in Spokane, Washington built this burly red 1968 Plymouth Road Runner for Merv Wagner. It features a built 440, Keisler Tremic 5-speed transmission, big Willwood brakes and and 19″ Foose Shockwave wheels. More pics plus video after the jump!
Brad Riepe’s Awesome Pro Touring 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
This car has been featured all over the net and from this pic you can probably tell why. Brad Riepe of Iowa bought this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner at age 16 in 1983 for $100, but the transformation didn’t start until 1999, when he bought a NHRA Pro Stock Hemi. The motor is pushing a whopping 1,300 hp and Brad keeps things in control with a Viper suspension and big Wilwood brakes. More pics plus some video after the jump! Is This The Wile E. Coyote Road?

Movie Mopar of the Week: 1972 Plymouth Road Runner from Love and a .45
I saw this in the theaters when it came out back in the early 90s. Kind of a Tarantino ripoff type thing, before Renée Zellweger got famous. But the real star of the movie is the blue ’72 Road Runner. Check out the movie trailer after the jump! If you haven’t seen it you can stream it on Netflix!
Plymouth Road Runners and GTXs at the 2013 Mopars Ulimited Spring Roundup
Nice bunch of Road Runners and GTXs. I love this green ’68 GTX! More pics plus video after the jump!
1969 Plymouth Road Runner Barn Find
This car was recently found in Nebraska. Looks like an amazing project. Under all the dust and grime is a fairly solid B7 4-speed car. They only made 1,880 Road Runner Convertibles in 1969, and only 769 of those were 4 speeds. They are still out there, folks. More pics plus video after the jump! Via Moparts
Mopars and AMCs at Quaker City Dragway
These awesome pics were shot Saturday at Quaker City Dragway in Salem, Ohio and posted in The Car Lounge. More pics after the jump!
1968 Plymouth Road Runner on eBay
I’ve featured a few high dollar trailer queens on here. Well, how about a driver that some of us might actually be able to afford? It’s hard to find a decent Road Runner under $20,000 these days but this might just be a good example. Sure it has the wrong seats, a silly butt stripe and goofy wheels. But being from Colorado it’s probably fairly rust free, and I’d love to have it. The no reserve eBay auction ends tomorrow! Lots more pics after the jump!
Update: looks like it sold for $17,101, bid up from about $15,000 early this morning.
