Widebody 1968 Dodge Charger in the Dynamax Booth at SEMA
This widebody 1968 Dodge Charger is a work in progress but we can tell it’s gonna be amazing. Twin turbo Nelson Racing 572ci Hemi rated at 2,000 hp! We will keep you posted on the build. But for now, check out the rest of the pics after the jump!
Fast and Furious Daytona in the Magnaflow Booth at SEMA
Mopar Muscle Magazine called this “the coolest Daytona at SEMA” on their Facebook page. Maybe they are hiring interns who don’t know Mopars? Cause this is a Chevy-powered movie car. Note that the hood is closed… More pics after the jump!
1969 Plymouth Valiant at SEMA
This 1969 Plymouth Valiant is my favorite Mopar at SEMA this year. I dig the “natural junkyard patina.” It features a modern 6.4 liter Hemi and a Tremec 6-speed transmission. More pics after the jump!
Wild Green ‘Cuda Convertible at SEMA
Saw this wild ‘Cuda convertible parked out front at SEMA today. Lots more pics after the jump!
Viper Powered 1966 Imperial at SEMA
There are Chrysler Imperials and then there are Chrysler Imperials! This Paxton supercharger equipped V10 1966 Imperial out of Manitoba is stealing the show at SEMA this year. Check the details (and this car is full of details) at Hot Rod. More pics after the jump!
Mopar Unveils Shaker Hood at 2013 SEMA Show
The Shaker hood is back. Yes, we’ve seen aftermarket versions for the Challenger, but this is a factory setup and is available on Challengers for the 2014 model year. That not good enough for you? The R/T Shaker packages includes the “Super Track Pak, with high-performance steering gear, brake linings and monotube shock absorbers, P245/45R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car three-season tires and three-mode electronic stability control (ESC) with “full off” mode.” Dodge also unveiled the New Mopar ’14 Challenger–only 100 of these will be built. Last but not least, the Scat Pack is officially back! This not only includes “three Mopar-engineered stage kits arriving in Spring 2014” but a whole club package reminiscent of the original Scat Pack. Lots more pics of the Mopar booth plus the full press release after the jump!
First Production XV Motorsports Challenger on eBay
This 1970 Dodge Challenger has been on the cover of several magazines and was featured in the BFG booth at SEMA. It packs a 440 hp 5.7 liter Hemi and has been thoroughly modernized throughout. And now it’s on eBay! Check out all the pics and specs after the jump!
Carbon Fiber Viper by Vivid Racing
There are two ways to make a Viper faster; more power and/or less weight. In the “less weight” department, carbon fiber is a favorite. This Viper is debuting at SEMA, and has been treated to a diet program thanks to Vivid Racing. Bits include a new hood, front lip, canards, side skirts, front diffuser, tail light surround and carbon fiber wing. Also some very tasty Niche wheels. See more at Carbuzz. More pictures after the jump!
Mopar Blog’s SEMA Coverage Starts Tomorrow
I’m flying out to Vegas tomorrow to bring you coverage from the 2013 SEMA Show. The Mopar press conference is at 4:40 (yes, I’m sure that is intentional) and we got word that Mopar is gonna announce something pretty cool. Anyway, it might be late tomorrow by the time I get pics uploaded, but definitely stay tuned. In the meantime, check out some of the vehicles Mopar is bringing, plus the official press release after the jump!
