Check out this Charger SRT8 kissing the asphalt. This style may not be for everyone but you have to admit, it certainly has presence. The lowering came thanks to a Universal Air suspension with BC coils and custom rear arms from Jay’s Hot Rods. The wheels were custom made by Avant Garde. Sized at 21×10.5-13 up front and 21×12.5-23 in the rear! Find more detail at StanceNation. More pictures after the jump!

Watch a Challenger SRT8 Walk Away from a Ferrari FF
You may remember Team Spankin Time from a video we posted last month of them spanking a McLaren MP4-12C. Well, they are not done humiliating supercars! Watch them leave a Ferrari FF after the jump! They also do the same thing to a 530 RWHP Z06. This Kenne Bell Supercharged Challenger runs 10s in street trim. Go Mopar!
Reader’s Rides: Doug and Glenda Young’s 2010 Plum Crazy Challenger SRT8
I just got this cool pic of these two late model Challengers nose to nose. Here’s the word from Glenda:
We live in a small town in NE. Our neighbor, Greg Wade purchased the black RT about 3 months ago. We have owned the PCP challenger since 2010, bought it new off the showroom. It is a SRT8 6 speed w/hurst shifter, tinted windows, cold air intake and a few other extras. Just thought I would share this. Doug and Glenda Young own the PCP. Love this car.

Watch a Challenger SRT8 Spank a McLaren MP4-12C
Well, to be fair this daily driven SRT8 is Kenne bell supercharged and is pushing 802 RWHP. But it also weighs 4,540 pounds in race trim. So that 10.43 at 133mph is pretty impressive. Video after the jump! Via LXForums
Green With Envy Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Wrecked
Don’t have a lot of info ont this one, other than that it happened in Northeast Ohio. The Green With Envy 6 speed SRT8 392 was almost brand new before it took out that guardrail. Came from Frederick Motors and still had temp tags. Lots more pics after the jump. Via Moparts
2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Core: 470 horsepower for Just $38,995
As DodgeForum points out, the 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Core is the most powerful car you can buy under $40,000. Mopar has always been about performance bang for the buck and the Core gets you just that: basically a stripped down, no-nonsense SRT8 Challenger. Here’s how the guys at SRT describe it:
The new 2013 Challenger SRT Core vehicle stands out thanks to its black grille and functional rear spoiler, ‘392’ badge on the front fender and 20-inch cast aluminum five-spoke wheels with black-painted pockets. Brembo® brakes stay and are finished in black for a more understated appearance. The SRT Viper lends its ballistic cloth material to the Challenger SRT Core for aggressively bolstered seats in Dark Slate Gray. Door inserts are finished in an “Axle” textile and a mini-carbon bezel instrument panel completes the appearance.
We describe it as everything you want, and nothing you don’t need. Build yours here. Pic of the Plum Crazy 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Core via Challengertalk
The Mopar Top Eliminator Program is Back!
This will be the seventh season of the Top Eliminator program, which honers the best Mopar restorers and modifiers. A total of four winners will be selected in 2013. Two winners will be chosen from competitions at Mopars in the Park and the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. A third will will be picked from drag cars at the NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis. And this is super cool: a fourth will be chosen online. Builders can upload pics of their Mopars and people will vote to determine the winner. More details at Chyrsler.com
