Stolen 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda 440 Six Pack
Now here’s a disturbing story. This 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda 440 Six Pack was stolen from the original owner in Portland in 2001. The owner, who still has the title, filed a police report and spent years trying to find his beloved E-body. Then a month ago it turns up in a storage garage. Think the rest would be easy, right? 2015 Dodge Challenger Official Pricing
Ok, after the Hellcat price leak this morning, Chrysler sent out an official press release with all the Challenger pricing for 2015.
- Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat – starting U.S. MSRP of $59,995
- Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack and 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker models – starting U.S. MSRP of $38,495
- Dodge Challenger R/T models – starting U.S. MSRP of $31,495
- Dodge Challenger SXT models – starting U.S. MSRP of $26,995

Hellcat Priced at $59,900
This pic was apparently snapped yesterday at a media event in Portland (we’ll be going down there to check out the Hellcat next week). So not only is the new Hellcat more powerful and faster in the quarter than the competition from Ford or Chevy, it’s priced well below the Z28 and is only a few grand more than the GT500 and ZL1. Check out this awesome new feature on Speedhunters on “The Coroner” located in Sweden.
“In essence, what he’s done is take a 1968 Dodge Coronet with a 1969 front end, plus a 2007 Dodge Charger, and blend them together to create something that looks old from the outside, but has all the luxuries and performance you’d expect from a modern muscle car at its core.”

The 2015 Dodge Challenger Rolls into Portland
Moparts member Stephen Cook snapped several pics of this cool white/red 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T yesterday at Portland International Raceway. This is one of several Challengers that will be made available to the press. We will be heading down to Portland the week after next to drive these cars–including the awesome new Hellcat! Can’t wait! 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Yard Find
A Moparts member just saved this rotting 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T in Wisconsin.
“A 383, 4-speed car. Parked in this spot in about 1989 and never moved. A time capsule to some degree, but frame and floor pans are rotted out. The massive holes in the floors allowed many critters to make it a home and a toilet. I’ve never seen a nastier interior. At least 2 cat skulls so far.”
Hopefully it will be back on the road soon!
