It came into the world quietly, grew to intimidate the competition with big blocks, hemispherical combustion chambers and SCCA racing, then bowed out quietly just as the fuel crisis hit. According to the Foundation: “This vehicle is one of 27 Dodge Coronet R/T 426 Hemi’s built in 1967 at the St. Louis, Mo., plant and sold new in the United States. It is the only one sold by BJ Performance guru, Mr. Norm from Grand Spalding Dodge in Chicago. It has been completely decoded and certified by Galen V.
