SRT Anodized Carbon Special Edition Viper TA

Making it’s debut at the New York Auto Show is the SRT Anodized Carbon Special Edition Viper TA. If you are avoiding buying one of the planned 50 Anodized Carbon Special Edition Vipers because that’s just too commonplace, how about the Anodized Carbon Special Edition Viper TA? With a planned production of only 10 Time Attack Group equipped Vipers, you will probably be the only one in your office to own one. Find more info at Autoblog. More pics after the jump!

2015 Challenger and Charger Revealed

Motor Authority is among the first to reveal pictures of the new-for-2015 Challenger and Charger. Both cars get reworked noses and tails with the Challenger getting a much needed interior makeover. The 8 speed transmission now fits under it’s hump. I’ll reserve judgement on the Chargers front end until I see one in person.  No pics of the SRT’s or the Hellcat just yet. More pics after the jump!

Dodge to Offer One Year Leases

Are you in the market for a Charger or Challenger but are wondering if you should maybe wait for the new, refreshed 2015’s? It appears Dodge is fearing this trend. They are offering a one year lease on a 2014 Charger or Challenger that can then be converted to a 36 month lease on a new, similarly priced 2015 model with no penalties and for the same lease payment. Here’s to having your cake and eating it too! Find more info at Carscoops.

Ram Wins All Star Honors

As reported in Allpar, Automobile magazine has chosen the Ram 1500 as a member of its 2014 All Star list, a list of their 10 favorite passenger vehicles. This is the second consecutive year that the Ram was chosen as well as four of the past five years!

Per their editors “the Ram 1500 defies the limitations of a pickup truck, continuing a spirit of  innovation that began in the mid-1990s, when Chrysler introduced the big-rig  grille and reinvented the way pickup trucks look. Now the Ram has the best chassis in the business, with a coil-sprung rear suspension that offers a  settled ride even with an empty bed. The list of options and the refined  interior rival those of a luxury car. And a new diesel engine – the only one available on a light-duty  pickup—achieves the fuel economy of a mid-size crossover.”

No rebuttal from GM spokesman Jim Cain yet.
